"BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY" SWEEPS TIME PERIOD IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS "Big Brother" is the Night's #1 Program in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54 CBS Places First on Wednesday in Adults 18-49 BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY won its time period in viewers and all key demographics and was the night's #1 program in key demos, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 1. From 8:00-9:00 PM, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (7.70m), adults 25-54 (3.3/10), adults 18-49 (2.8/10) and adults 18-34 (2.6/10). BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was the night's top-rated program in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, and tied as the top program in adults 25-54. Versus the comparable broadcast last year, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/07) and +18% in adults 18-34 (from 2.2/07). For the night, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.5/07, with NBC) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06, with FOX); it was second in viewers (6.67m).
