"Late Show" Sweeps "The Tonight Show" in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and
Adults 25-54 for the First Time Since Jay Leno's Return
"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" Finishes Ahead of "Late Night" in Viewers and Matches "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34
CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN swept "The Tonight Show" in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the first time since Jay Leno's return (March 1, 2010), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 29.
LATE SHOW posted a 2.7/07 in households with an average of 3.80m viewers, LATE SHOW was up +11% in adults 18-49 (1.0/04 from 0.9/04), even in both adults 25-54 (1.3/05) and adults 18-34 (0.6/03) compared to the same week last year.
LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" in households (2.7/07 vs. 2.5/06, +8%), viewers (3.80m vs. 3.60m, +6%), adults 25-54 (1.3/05 vs. 1.2/05, +8%) and adults 18-49 (1.0/04 vs. 0.9/04, +11%). LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" for the second consecutive week in viewers, beat or tied "The Tonight Show" for the sixth consecutive week in adults 25-54 and beat "The Tonight Show" for the first time since Jay Leno returned (March 1, 2010) in adults 18-49. LATE SHOW and "The Tonight Show" have been tied in adults 18-49 for the prior three weeks.
THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON delivered a 1.3/05 in households with 1.79m viewers. THE LATE LATE SHOW beat "Late Night" in households (1.3/05 vs. 1.2/04, +8%), viewers (1.79m vs. 1.66m, +8%) and tied in both adults 25-54 (0.7/04, each) and adults 18-34 (0.4/02, each).
THE LATE LATE SHOW tied "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in adults 18-49 (0.5/03, each), adults 25-54 (0.7/04 vs. 0.7/03) and adults 18-34 (0.4/02, each) and was nearly equal in viewers (1.79m to 1.80m).
