Securing TV's Top 4 scripted series, and the Top 4 across all cable with "Wizards of Waverly Place," "Shake It Up," "Good Luck Charlie" and "The Suite Life on Deck," Disney Channel stood as TV's
No. 1 network in Total Day for the 10th consecutive month among Tweens 9-14 (501,000/2.1 rating), delivering its largest February audience ever in the demo, in addition to Total Viewers (1.78 million) and Kids 6-11 (631,000/2.5 rating).
· Disney Channel posted hefty double-digit percent increases year to year in several key demos, specifically in Total Viewers (+11% - 1.78 million vs. 1.61 million) and Kids 6-11 (+10% - 631,000 vs. 573,000).
In Prime, Disney Channel also set new February highs in Total Viewers (2.70 million) and Kids 6-11 (1.11 million/4.5 rating), and saw its most-watched February since 2007 in Tweens 9-14 (854,000/3.5 rating). Competitively, the channel extended its streak as TV's No. 1 network to 72 consecutive months among Kids 6-11 and to 70 straight months among Tweens 9-14 (854,000/3.5 rating), and ranked as cable's No. 2 network in Prime in Total Viewers.
· Year to year, Disney Channel delivered increases in key demos, including by 15% in Total Viewers (vs. 2.35 million) and by 13% in Kids 6-11 (vs. 980,000).
The 1-hour "Wizards of Waverly Place" telecast on February 18 ranked as cable's No. 1 telecast among Kids 6-11 (2.23 million/9.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.99 million/8.2 rating), standing as the series' most-watched telecast in more than 1 year in the target demos - since 1/22/10.
