Food Network's Five-Week Series Delivers Network Record and Top Ranking
NEW YORK - April 5, 2011 - Food Network's Chopped All-Stars ended its banner run as the #1 rated cable show Sunday night among adults 25-54. After driving the network's highest-rated March ever and consistently delivering as a top-ranked program during its five-week run, the finale delivered a 1.8 adult 25-54 rating with an average of 3.4 million total viewers 2+. The series was watched overall by 23.9 million total viewers 2+ basis, including 12.4 million adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Following the finale, the network's next Sunday night series, Last Cake Standing delivered a strong .8 adults 25-54, up 14% from season one in 2009. The six-week series airing Sunday nights at 9pm ET/PT places eight of America's top pastry chefs in extreme and grueling challenges with crazy twists as they vie for the title of "Best Cake Artist in America" and an incredible $100,000 grand prize.
