A&E FINISHES BEST APRIL IN NETWORK HISTORY

NETWORK DELIVERS GROWTH AMONG TOTAL VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

A&E RANKS #4 IN ADULTS 25-54, #5 FOR ADULTS 18-49 AND TIED FOR #5 FOR TOTAL VIEWERS AMONG ALL ENTERTAINMENT CABLE NETWORKS IN APRIL 2011

NEW YORK, NY - April 26, 2011 - Continuing its ratings success, A&E enjoyed its best April ever among total viewers and with the key demographics, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Propelled by the strength of the network's slate of original series, and strong premieres of the hit series "Storage Wars," the network is up 7% in adults 25-54 (711,000), up 5% in adults 18-49 (681,000) and up 4% in total viewers (1.42 million) versus April 2010. For the month, A&E ranked #4 in adults 25-54, #5 in adults 18-49 and tied at #5 for total viewers among all entertainment cable networks.

For 2011 year-to-date, A&E currently ranks #4 among adults 25-54, tied for #6 in total viewers and is #7 in adults 18-49, versus all entertainment cable networks. April 2011 also marks the 57th consecutive month in which A&E has landed in the top 10 with adults 25-54 and the 36th consecutive month with adults 18-49.
