NBC RESULTS FOR THE PRIMETIME WEEK OF MAY 30-JUNE 5

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 7, 2011 - Led by "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent," which were the top two non-sports telecasts of the week in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, NBC ranked #2 for the week of May 30-June 5 in adults 18-49, averaging a 1.7 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.6 million viewers overall, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research. NBC also ranked #2 for the week in adults 25-54 and other key demographic measures.

The final battle round episode of "The Voice" and the season premiere of "America's Got Talent" were the top two non-sports programs of the week in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers, trailing only ABC's NBA Finals telecasts among all programs. In adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, "The Voice" ranked #4 among all programs, behind the three NBA telecasts, while "America's Got Talent" ranked #5.

In total viewers this week, "America's Got Talent" ranked #3 among all programs, topping even Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and "The Voice" ranked #5. And in all key adult-female demographics - women 18-34, women 18-49 and women 25-54 - "The Voice" was the #1 program of the week, topping all three NBA Finals telecasts. "America's Got Talent" ranked #2 among all programs this week in women 18-49 and women 25-54.

Primetime averages for the week of May 30-June 5 in adults 18-49 were ABC (2.9/9), NBC (1.7/5), Fox (1.5/5), CBS (1.2/4) and CW (0.3/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were ABC (7.7 million), CBS (6.6 million), NBC (5.6 million), Fox (4.3 million) and CW (0.9 million).

NBC highlights for the week of May 30-June 5:

* On Monday, "Law & Order: LA" locked up its highest 18-49 rating in the 10 p.m. ET hour in seven weeks and its biggest overall audience in eight weeks. Week to week, "Law & Order: LA" grew 15 percent in adults 18-49 and 11 percent in total viewers.

* On Tuesday, the sixth season premiere of America's Got Talent" attracted the biggest overall viewership ever for a "Talent" season debut and delivered the highest 18-49 rating for a "Talent" premiere since 2007.

* The "America's Got Talent" season debut was up 19 percent in adults 18-49 and 24 percent or more than 2.9 million persons in total viewers versus last year's premiere.

* "America's Got Talent" won its two-hour time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.

* Also on Tuesday, the fourth and final battle-round episode of "The Voice" surged versus the prior week by 29 percent in adults 18-49 and by 70 percent or 5.9 million persons in total viewers.

* "The Voice" delivered its highest 18-49 rating in four weeks and attracted its biggest overall viewership ever, despite special competition from the NBA Finals.

* Together "Talent" and "The Voice" propelled NBC to a tie for #1 in primetime in adults 18-49 despite competition from ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals. NBC ranked #1 outright for the night in adults 25-54, total viewers and all key adult-female demos.

* On Wednesday, NBC Sports' coverage of the Boston Bruins-Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Final Game 1 was up 6 percent in adults 18-49 and 3 percent in total viewers versus last year's Game 1.

* NBC's Wednesday telecast of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final ranked #16 among all primetime telecasts this week in adults 18-49. It ranked #7 (tied) among all programs for the week in men 18-49 and #6 among men 25-54.

* NBC skated to a #2 finish among all broadcast and cable networks Wednesday night in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and a first-place finish in men 18-49 and men 25-54.

* From its first to its final half-hour, NBC's coverage of the Bruins-Canucks game grew by 77 percent in adults 18-49 and by 34 percent in total viewers. In the final hour of primetime from 10-11 p.m. ET, NBC ranked #1 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures.

* On Friday, "Dateline NBC" reported the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49.

* NBC ranked #1 in primetime Friday night in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.

* NBC iced a primetime win Saturday night, ranking #1 among all broadcast and cable networks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demographics, propelled by NBC Sports' coverage of the Boston Bruins-Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Final Game 2.

* On Sunday, a rebroadcast of Tuesday's season premiere of "America's Got Talent" was the #1 non-sports choice among all broadcast and cable networks in total viewers opposite ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of May 30-June 5

On Monday, May 30 from 8-9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Minute To Win It" averaged a 0.9 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. "Minute" increased from its first half-hour to its second by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.8) and by 16 percent in total viewers (4.006 million vs. 3.447 million).

Monday from 9-10 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) apprehended NBC's biggest overall viewership in this hour in seven weeks (since April 11). "Criminal Intent" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 11 percent in 18-49 rating and 37 percent in total viewers.

Monday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: LA" (1.5/4 in adults 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) locked up its highest 18-49 rating in this hour since April 11 and its biggest overall audience since April 4. Week to week, "Law & Order: LA" grew 15 percent in adults 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.3) and 11 percent in total viewers (6.6 million vs. 5.9 million).

"Law & Order: LA" ranked #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key ratings measures.

On Tuesday, May 31 from 8-10 p.m. ET, the sixth season premiere of "America's Got Talent" (4.3/12 in adults 18-49, 15.3 million viewers overall) was up versus last year's season premiere by 19 percent in adults 18-49 (4.3 vs. a 3.6 rating on June 1, 2010) and by 24 percent or more than 2.9 million persons in total viewers (15.280 million vs. 12.351 million).

This marks the top "America's Got Talent" season premiere in adults 18-49 since 2007 (also a 4.3 from 9-11 p.m. on June 5, 2007) and it sets a new record for a "Talent" season debut in total viewers. In fact, this was the third most-watched telecast of "America's Got Talent" ever in total viewers, behind only the 2009 and 2010 season finales. Counting all "Talent" telecasts, this 4.3 rating in adults 18-49 is the show's highest since June 19, 2007 (a 4.4) during the show's second season.

"America's Got Talent" won its two-hour time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Talent" grew by 48 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 4.8 from a 3.3) and by 37 percent or 4.6 million persons in total viewers (17.0 million vs. 12.4 million), despite competition that night from ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals.

From 10-11 p.m. ET, the fourth and final battle-round episode of "The Voice" (4.9/13 in 18-49, 14.4 million viewers overall) surged versus the prior week by 29 percent in adults 18-49 (4.9 vs. 3.8) and by 70 percent or 5.9 million persons in total viewers (14.405 million vs. 8.488 million). This marks the highest 18-49 rating for "The Voice" in four weeks and its biggest overall viewership ever, despite special competition from the NBA Finals.

Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, the May 31 telecast of "The Voice" was up 69 percent in 18-49 rating (4.9 vs. 2.9, "live plus same day," non-sports) and up 50 percent in total viewers (14.405 million vs. 9.593 million).

Together "Talent" and "The Voice" propelled NBC to a tie for #1 in primetime that night in adults 18-49 despite competition from ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals. NBC ranked #1 outright for the night in adults 25-54, total viewers and all key adult-female demos - women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

On Wednesday, June 1 from 8-11:02 p.m. ET, NBC Sports' coverage of the Boston Bruins-Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Final Game 1 averaged a 1.8/6 in adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall. This was up 6 percent in adults 18-49 and 3 percent in total viewers versus last year's Game 1 (a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 4.428 million viewers overall for the Philadelphia Flyers-Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday, May 29, 2010).

From its first half-hour to its sixth and final half-hour from 10:30-11 p.m. ET, NBC's coverage of the Bruins-Canucks game increased by 77 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.3 rating from a 1.3) and by 34 percent in total viewers (5.429 million vs. 4.052 million). In the final hour of primetime from 10-11 p.m. ET, NBC ranked #1 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures.

For the full primetime night, NBC ranked #2 among all broadcast and cable networks in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and was #1 in men 18-49 and men 25-54.

On Thursday, June 2 at 8 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Community" delivered a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers overall. From 8:30-9 p.m., an encore telecast of "30 Rock" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (0.9 vs. 0.8).

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "The Office" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) grew versus the prior week by 18 percent in 18-49 rating (1.3 vs. 1.1). "The Office" built on its lead-in by 44 percent in 18-49 rating.

From 9:31-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Parks and Recreation" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall) was up versus the prior week by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (1.1 vs. 1.0) and 14 percent in total viewers (2.560 million vs. 2.241 million).

Thursday from 10-11 p.m. ET, the premiere of "Love Bites" averaged a 1.0/3 in adults 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Love Bites" increased its viewership in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. Versus NBC's results in this time period the prior week with comedy encores, "Love Bites" was up 11 percent in 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 0.9) and 25 percent in total viewers (2.638 million vs. 2.107 million), despite special competition this week from ABC's telecast of the NBA Finals.

On Friday, June 3 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" averaged a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) reported the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 56 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.4 rating from a 0.9), 46 percent in adults 25-54 (1.9 vs. 1.3) and 38 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers (5.9 million vs. 4.3 million). For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., "Dateline" ranked #1 or tied for #1.among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

On Saturday, June 4 from 8-11:05 p.m. ET, NBC Sports' coverage of the Boston Bruins-Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Final Game 2 averaged a 1.3/5 in adults 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers overall. NBC ranked #1 among all broadcast and cable networks in primetime in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demographics - men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54. NBC's 1.3 average rating in primetime is the network's highest for a Saturday since the NFL Wild Card telecast on January 8. This is also NBC's first outright Saturday win in 18-49 since January 8.

On Sunday, June 5 from 7-8 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Dateline NBC" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall. From 8-9 p.m., an encore telecast of "Minute To Win It" delivered a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall. "Minute" increased from its first half-hour to its second in all key ratings categories, including gains of 33 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.6) and 23 percent in total viewers (3.2 million vs. 2.6 million).

Sunday from 9-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of Tuesday's season premiere of "America's Got Talent" averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall. The "Talent" encore was the #1 non-sports choice in the time period among all broadcast and cable networks in total viewers opposite ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals.
