"Awake" Debut Puts It #3 Among Biggest % Gainers Going from Live + Same Day to Live + 7; "Smash" Increases Grow from 30% in Week 1 to 45% in Week 4

Here are NBC highlights regarding time-shifted viewing through the season's first 24 weeks...

* With one week measured in L+7, "Awake" is currently the #2 new drama on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 so far this season and also the #2 new series and the #3 show overall behind only Fox's "Fringe" (+69%) and NBC's "Grimm" (+63%), with its premiere growing by +56% in adults 18-49 (to a 3.05 rating from a 1.96).

* "Smash" has been delivering steadily bigger increases from its L+SD rating to its L+7 results, starting with a gain of +30% for its debut (to a 4.96 from a 3.82), then to +37% (3.84 vs. 2.80), then +39% (3.22 vs. 2.31), then +45% (3.40 vs. 2.35). Through those four telecasts, the average increase for "Smash" is +37% (to a 3.85 from a 2.82)

* "Grimm" is the #1 new drama on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 so far this season and also the #1 new series and the #2 show overall behind only Fox's "Fringe" (+69%), with its original telecasts growing by +63% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.67 rating from a 1.64).

* "Up All Night" is the #1 new comedy on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 through the first 24 weeks of the season and the #1 comedy, #3 new series and tied for the #4 show overall, growing when in first-run by +51% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.88 rating from a 1.91).

* "30 Rock" is tied for the #2 comedy on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage growth from L+SD to L+7 so far this season, with its originals gaining by +47% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.25 rating from a 1.53).

* "The Office" is tied for the #2 comedy on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage growth from L+SD to L+7 through the first 24 weeks of the season, with originals gaining by +47% in adults 18-49 (to a 4.36 rating from a 2.96).

* "Parenthood" is the #5 drama on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 through the 24th week of the season, growing when in original by +47% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.83 rating from a 1.93).

* "Law & Order: SVU" is tied for the #6 drama on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 through the 24th week of the season, with its originals growing by +46% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.90 rating from a 1.98).

* "Whitney" is the #3 first-year comedy on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 through Week 24, growing when in first-run by +37% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.64 rating from a 1.93), behind only "Up All Night" (+51%) and Fox's "The New Girl" (+42%).
