"60 MINUTES" MAKES THE TOP 10 AND IS SUNDAY'S TOP PRIMETIME PROGRAM
60 MINUTES SPECIAL made Nielsen's Top 10 list at #10 for the week, drawing an audience of 11.73 million viewers on Easter Sunday. America's #1 news program was also Sunday's #1 show in primetime.
The broadcast featured Steve Kroft's look at the European Union's sovereign debt crisis, Lara Logan's feature on the game of polo and its biggest star, and Bob Simon's story about the only symphony orchestra in Central Africa.
During and after Sunday's broadcast, the story about the Kimbanguist Symphony Orchestra, the world's only all-black symphony orchestra, was a worldwide trending topic on Twitter.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES.
