New York, NY (November 13, 2012) -- MTV scored a huge Monday night with the season three premiere of "Teen Mom 2" ranking as the evening's #1 original cable series among P12-34, and the debut of "Catfish: The TV Show" ranking second for November 12. Additionally, according to Social Guide, "Catfish: The TV Show" ranked as the most social cable television series last night, followed by "Teen Mom 2" featuring multiple trending show topics across Twitter throughout the evening.
Premiering on a new night, Mondays, "Teen Mom 2" with Kailyn, Chelsea, Jenelle and Leah delivered a 3.2 P12-34 rating and drew in 3.4 million total viewers, up from the final season of "Teen Mom," and outpacing the "Teen Mom 2" season two finale. Season three ratings are expected to grow when accounting for evolving viewing habits within this demographic. The average P12-34 rating for the second season of the series experienced double-digit growth in viewership for Live+3 DVR viewing.
New series "Catfish: The TV Show" debuted following "Teen Mom 2," with a strong 2.6 P12-34 rating, making it the highest rated MTV series debut since the hit show "Ridiculousness." The premiere also ranked as the #1 cable series in the time slot among P12-34, and averaged 2.7 million total viewers.

The third season of this groundbreaking series goes beyond tabloid headlines and inside the emotional journeys of four young mothers as they face some of their biggest challenges yet, as their children enter into their "terrible twos." Next week on "Teen Mom 2," Leah and Corey go to mediation over custody of the girls, while Chelsea and Adam take a big step forward. Meanwhile, Jenelle fails a drug test, and Kailyn tries to connect with her estranged mother.
