Discovery Channel's "Moonshiners" and "Amish Mafia" Break Viewership Records

DISCOVERY CHANNEL'S "MOONSHINERS" AND "AMISH MAFIA" BREAK VIEWERSHIP RECORDS AND DRIVE DISCOVERY CHANNEL TO #1 IN CABLE PRIME TIME ON WEDNESDAY DEC 12

MOONSHINERS Grabs a Series Best with 3.43 Million Viewers and AMISH MAFIA Delivers a Record 3.64 Million Viewers

Discovery Channel's MOONSHINERS broke series viewership records on Wednesday with 3.43 million viewers. Currently in its second season, this marks the largest viewership in the history of the series. The series premiere of AMISH MAFIA brought in 3.64 million viewers which increased total viewership in HH and total viewers P2+ from Tuesday's sneak peek premiere. The shows were the #1 and #2 cable programs among HH, P2+, P18+, P/M25-54, P/M18-49 delivery. Additionally, Discovery Channel was the #1 network on cable in Prime Time evening in total viewers P2+, HH, P/M18+, P/M/W 25-54, P/M18-49 and P/M18-34 ratings and delivery.

MOONSHINERS at 10PM ET/PT earned a series best rating with 2.35 HH / 2.14 P25-54 / and 3.43 million total viewers P2+ making it the #1 cable program on Wednesday evening among P/M 25-54, P/M 18-49 and P/M 18-34 delivery, no exclusions.

The AMISH MAFIA series premiere at 9PM ET/PT earned a 2.65 HH / 1.98 P25-54 / and 3.64 million total viewers P2+ average delivery. The AMISH MAFIA sneak peek premiere on Tuesday Dec. 11 earned a 2.51 HH rating and 3.41 million viewers P2+, making last night's series premiere the highest viewership for the series. All New episodes of AMISH MAFIA and MOONSHINERS can be seen on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 9 and 10PM, respectively.
