NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 17 - 23, 2012

Strong performance by the two-night THE X FACTOR finale this week led the network to rank No. 1 for the week among Teens and No. 2 among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

FOX won both Wednesday and Thursday nights among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens. Wednesday's THE X FACTOR was the highest-rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and was up +4% from last year's performance finale (on 12/21/11) in Adults 18-34 (2.6 vs. 2.5). THE X FACTOR delivered its highest Wednesday night Teens rating in over two months (since 10/10/12).

THE X FACTOR: Performance Finale: Top 3 Perform posted 2.7/8, the same as last week in Adults 18-49 (vs. 2.7/8) while it was up +6% in Total Viewers (8.3 vs. 7.8 Mil) and +26% in Teens (2.4/9 vs. 1.9/7).

FOX delivered its highest Thursday in Total Viewers (9.7 Mil) so far this season excluding Game 2 of the World Series on 10/25/12. THE X FACTOR finale delivered a 3.1/9, up +29% from last week in Adults 18-49 (vs. 2.4/7), +26% in Total Viewers (9.7 vs. 7.7 Mil), +29% in Adults 18-34 (2.7/9 vs. 2.1/7) and +82% in Teens (3.1/12 vs. 1.7/6). THE X FACTOR was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

THE X FACTOR posted its highest Teens rating on any night of the week in three months (since 9/20/12), its highest Adults 18-49 in over two months (since 10/10/12) and its highest Total Viewers in over two months (since 10/3/12).
