"SNL" with Host Christoph Waltz Scores the #1 Rating of the Night in Metered-Market Households

In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday night:

* "Saturday Night Live," with host Christoph Waltz and musical guest Alabama Shakes (4.6/12 in metered-market households), dominated its time period. "SNL" scored the #1 rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in metered-market households, topping all primetime telecasts on those networks.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, last night's "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 2.5 rating, 11 share in adults 18-49. "SNL" delivered the top rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the Local People Meters, more than doubling all primetime programming on those networks in 18-49.

Saturday Primetime Results:

* At 8 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 1.9 million viewers overall, tying for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in adults 18-49 and ranking #1 among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34.

* At 9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Chicago Fire" earned a 0.4/1 in 18-49 and 1.8 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Chicago Fire" grew by 13 percent in total viewers (1.9 million vs. 1.6 million).

* At 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live," with host and musical guest Justin Bieber (0.7/2 in 18-49, 2.2 million viewers overall) built on its 18-49 lead-in by 75 percent. The "SNL" encore grew from its first half-hour to its second by 13 percent in adults 25-54 (to a 0.9 rating from a 0.8) and 13 percent in total viewers (2.3 million vs. 2.1 million).
