Adult Swim's Total Day Ranks #1 Among Adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 on Basic Cable for the Week
Turner spins the numbers for the week of March 11-17.

Adult Swim

Adult Swim's Total Day ranked #1 among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24, 18-34, & 18-49 on basic cable this week. Compared to the same week in 2012, Total day delivery grew with all target demos - adults 18-34 by 4%, adults 18-24 by 7%, adults 18-49 by 5%, men 18-24 by 19%, men 18-34 by 14% and men 18-49 by 10%.

In primetime, Adult Swim ranked #3 among basic cable networks for delivery of adults 18-34. Compared to the same week in 2012, primetime delivery was up with adults 18-24 by 24%, adults 18-34 by 10%, adults 18-49 by 8%, men 18-24 by 60%, men 18-34 by 21% and men 18-49 by 13%.

The new episode premiere of Loiter Squad (Sunday, 12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24 & 18-34, growing by double and triple-digits across the board vs. the same time period last year.

Thursday's new episode premiere of the original series Newsreaders (Thursday, 12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period with adults 18-24 and men 18-24 & 18-34, growing delivery among adults 18-24 and all men demos vs. the same time period last year.

All new episodes that premiered during the action-adventure Toonami block - including Naruto and Bleach - ranked #1 in their respective time periods among adults 18-24 and men 18-24 & 18-34, seeing mostly double-digit increases across key adults and men vs. the same time period year ago.

The movie premiere of Evangeleon 1:11 increased by double and triple-digits across adults 18-34, 18-24 & 18-49 vs. the same time period year ago.

Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, Loiter Squad, and Robot Chicken - accounted for 21 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable for the week with adults 18-34 and 25 of the top 50 telecasts with men 18-34, both more than any other network.

TBS

TBS ranked as basic cable's #1 network in primetime with adults 18-34. This marks yet another weekly win along TBS's continuing march toward a first-place finish with young adults for the quarter.

The TBS original comedy series Cougar Town averaged 2.1 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery last week, including 1.3 million adults 18-49 and 633,000 adults 18-34. Meanwhile in time-shifted viewing, Cougar Town's Feb. 26 episode has grown to a final tally of 2.6 million viewers in Live + 7, with 1.6 million adults 18-49 and 745,000 adults 18-34.

TBS's late-night series CONAN scored strong growth last week. The show averaged 925,000 total viewers in Live + Same Day delivery, up a remarkable +17% vs. the prior week. The show also garnered 585,000 adults 18-49 (+14% vs. the prior week) and 326,000 adults 18-34 (+20% vs. the prior week).

The Big Bang Theory continues to deliver the goods on TBS, last week accounting for 14 of basic cable's Top 15 sitcom telecasts with total viewers and adults 18-49, as well as 12 of the Top 15 with adults 18-34.

TNT

TNT's Dallas bade farewell to J.R. Ewing last Monday night, drawing 4.6 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, a +26% boost over the prior week's episode. Among TNT's target demos, the episode has averaged 1.8 million adults 25-54 (+22% vs. the prior week's episode) and 1.5 million adults 18-49 (+20%).

For the second consecutive week, TNT's acclaimed drama Southland has produced its best Live + 3 deliveries of the season. Last Wednesday night's episode has garnered 2.4 million viewers in Live + 3 (+6% compared to the prior week). Southland also scored 1.2 million adults 25-54 (+8%) and 1 million adults 18-49 (+11%).

Leading into Southland, TNT's new unscripted police drama Boston's Finest drew more than 1.2 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery. Among TNT's key demos, the series drew 659,000 adults 25-54 and 637,000 adults 18-49, growing +14% in the younger demo compared to the prior week's episode.

truTV

truTV continues its successful efforts to attract a younger audience and is on pace to score its youngest first quarter ever. With a primetime median age of 41, truTV is attracting a younger audience than its non-fiction competitors: A&E (46), Discovery (45), History (52), Spike (43), and TLC (43).

truTV's hit series Lizard Lick Towing (Monday at 10 p.m.) brought in more than 2.2 million viewers, 1.2 million adults 18-49 and 553,000 men 18-49 last week, ranking among ad-supported cable's Top 5 programs for the timeslot in all three categories. Lizard Lick Towing also delivered double-digit gains among key demos compared to the same time period last year and led truTV to a Top 10 basic cable ranking for the night.

Infiniti Selection Sunday on truTV, which aired March 17, delivered a +10% increase in total viewers compared to last year's selection show on truTV, with an average of 396,000. The Turner Sports documentary Bluegrass Kingdom: The Gospel of Kentucky Basketball followed with 278,000 total viewers, growing +15% compared to last year's documentary about Duke University's back-to-back national championships.

Cartoon Network

Across the third week of March 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network for total day delivery of boys 9-14.

Cartoon Network was the #1 television destination for all boys 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14 among all TV on Saturday Night (7-9p).

A new episode premiere of Dragons: Riders of Berk (Wednesday, 8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period with all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.

Saturday Morning earned growth among kids and boys 9-14, with premiere episodes of Beyblade: Metal Fury (8 a.m.), Pokemon BW: Adventures in Unova (8:30 a.m.) and Ben 10: Omniverse (9 a.m.) ranking #1 in their respective time periods among boys 9-14.

NBA TV

NBA TV's 18 NBA Fan Night presented by Sprint telecasts are averaging 467,000 total viewers, up 3% compared to last season (455,000 total viewers for 22 telecasts).

Through 74 live game telecasts, NBA TV is averaging 340,000 total viewers, up 1% compared to the 2011-12 regular season (337,000 for 96 game telecasts).
