Monday Results:
* From 8-10:01 p.m. ET, the season finale of "The Biggest Loser 14" (2.6 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49, 7.3 million viewers overall) jumped 18 percent versus last year's finale in adults 18-49 (with a 2.6 rating vs. last year's 2.2 on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 8-9 p.m. ET) and was up 2 percent in total viewers (7.333 million vs. 7.205 million).
* The 7.3 million is the biggest overall audience for "Biggest Loser" since December 13, 2011 for the finale of "The Biggest Loser 12" (7.8 million). The 2.6 rating is also the highest for "The Biggest Loser" since December 13, 2011 (2.7), excluding this season's special Sunday premiere (3.0 from 9-11 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 6).
* In a highly competitive time period versus ABC's debut of "Dancing With the Stars," CBS's comedies and Fox's "Bones" and "The Following," last night's "Biggest Loser" is #2 in 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, behind only "Dancing" and ahead of CBS's comedies and Fox's dramas, and tied for #1 among those networks in adults 18-34 (2.0 rating each for "Loser" and "Dancing").
* Versus its 2.0 rating in 18-49 and 5.620 million viewers overall for the prior week, last night's "Biggest Loser" is up 30 percent in both categories. From its first half-hour to its fourth, last night's "Biggest Loser" grew by 26 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.9 from a 2,3) and 17 percent or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (7.8 million vs. 6.7 million).
* From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, the season finale of "Deception" (1.3/3 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 18 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.1) to capture its top rating in eight weeks (since January 21).
* In total viewers, "Deception" is up week to week by 7 percent (3.521 million vs. 3.278 million) for its biggest overall audience in the seven weeks since January 28.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:
* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.5/7.
* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.7/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.
* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) tied "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).
* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
For the Week:
* For the week of March 11-17, NBC averaged a 1.1 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research.
* NBC's top shows last week included "The Biggest Loser," which averaged a 2.0 rating in adults 18-49; "The Office," which averaged a 1.9, and "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice," which earned a 1.8.
