Season to Date, "Katie" Places in the Top Tier Among All Syndicated Talk Shows

"Katie" ranked as TV's No. 1 new syndicated talk show during the week (w/o 04/15/13), leading runner-up "Steve Harvey" by strong margins in Households (+29% - 1.8 rating vs. 1.4 rating) and Total Viewers (+19% - 2.301 million vs. 1.938 million). In U.S. Homes, "Katie" has finished as the top-rated freshman talker on each week since its September debut - since w/o 09/10/12.

· Building over the prior week in Total Viewers (+5%) and Households (+6%), "Katie" drew its biggest audience and equaled its best rating since February - since w/o 02/25/13. In fact, it was the show's 5th straight week to increase its overall audience. In addition, "Katie" was the only freshman talker to increase week to week in Households.

· Season to date, freshman "Katie" places in the top tier among the 18 syndicated talk shows on the market this season across key measures: Households (No. 6 - 1.8 rating), Total Viewers (No. 6 - 2.392 million) and Women 25-54 (No. 6 - 1.0 rating). Overall "Katie" is the biggest freshman syndicated talker in 3 years - since "Dr. Oz" in 2009.

"Katie" is executive-produced by Katie Couric and Michael Morrison and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Co-executive producers are Kathy Samuels, Matt Strauss and Ethan Nelson and the program is directed by Joseph Terry.
