"48 HOURS: CRAZY LOVE" ENCORE WAS SATURDAY NIGHT'S #1 PROGRAM WITH ADULTS 25-54 - THE DEMOGRAPHIC THAT MATTERS MOST TO THOSE WHO ADVERTISE IN NEWS - AS WELL AS VIEWERS AND HOUSEHOLDS

48 HOURS: "Crazy Love" (R) was Saturday's #1 program with adults 25-54 (tied with "The Big Bang Theory" on TBS), viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for July 13, 2013. 48 HOURS: "Crazy Love" (10:09-11:00 PM) posted a 2.9/05 HH with 4.22m viewers and a 1.2/05 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same night last year, 48 HOURS was even in adults 25-54.

Saturday's broadcast featured Troy Roberts and the 48 HOURS team's report on the murder of Fontainebleau Hotel heir Benji Novack, who was found dead in 2009 at a hotel in Rye Brook, N.J. Novack was a self-made multi-millionaire who friends said ruled his conference planning empire by fear. He was known as a collector of Batman memorabilia and routinely cheated on his wife, Narcy Novack. He left behind plenty of potential suspects. The investigation also led to Miami where a reporter raised questions about the death of his mother, three months before Benji Novack was killed. It was ruled an accident, but was it?

48 HOURS: "Crazy Love" is produced by Chuck Stevenson and Dena Goldstein. Tamara Weitzman is the field producer. Alan Miller, Bobby Orozovich and Bruce Spiegel are the editors. Linda Martin is the update producer. Suzanne Allen is the senior coordinating producer. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.

"Crazy Love" was the second broadcast of a Saturday night 48 HOURS double feature. The first, 48 HOURS: "Chasing the Barefoot Bandit" (R) (9:00-9:58 PM) was first in households (2.7/05), in viewers (3.85m) and tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.1/04, with FOX). Compared to the same night last year (CRIMETIME SATURDAY "NYC 22"), 48 HOURS 9:00 PM was up +22% in adults 25-54. "Chasing the Barefoot Bandit" is produced by Paul LaRosa and Sarah Prior. Greg McLaughlin is the producer-editor. Jorge Garcia, Alan Miller and Michael Vele are the editors. Linda Martin is the update producer. Suzanne Allen is the senior coordinating producer. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.

Editor's Note: In the Eastern and Central Time Zones, 48 HOURS "Crazy Love" was joined in progress due to breaking news.
