UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 16, 2013 - NBC has tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 for the primetime week of July 8-14, averaging a 1.2 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research. It's the third week in a row NBC has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among those networks.

Wednesday's "America's Got Talent" was the week's #1 primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and the Tuesday edition finished #3. "Talent" also ranked #1 or tied for #1 on those networks in adults and women 25-54; men and women 18-49; adults and men 18-34, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11.

Other top-rated shows on NBC for the week included "American Ninja Warrior" (tied for #12 in 18-49), Thursday's debut of "Camp" (tied for #14), Monday's premiere of "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (tied for #14), Thursday's debut of "Hollywood Game Night" (tied for #18), Wednesday's "Talent" encore (tied for #20), Friday's "Dateline NBC" (tied for #22) and Thursday's "The Winner Is..." (tied for #28).

"Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" and "Hollywood Game Night" scored the #1 and #2 18-49 ratings for debuting new unscripted series so far this summer on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, while "Camp" was the #2 debut of a scripted series on those nets this summer, behind only CBS's "Under the Dome."

NBC tied for #1 for the week among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in women 18-49 and men 25-54.

Primetime averages for the week of July 8-14 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.2/4; Fox, 1.2/4; CBS, 1.2/4; ABC, 0.9/3; and CW, 0.2/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 5.3 million; NBC, 4.7 million; ABC, 3.7 million; Fox, 3.2 million; and CW, 0.6 million.

Averages for the 2012-13 Broadcast Year to date are: CBS, 2.6/8; Fox, 2.3/7; NBC, 2.2/7; ABC, 2.1/6; and CW, 0.6/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 10.8 million; ABC, 7.5 million; NBC, 6.8 million; Fox, 6.5 million; and CW, 1.6 million.

NBC is running within a tenth of a rating point of #2 in 18-49 for the 2012-13 broadcast year to date and is tied for #2 in adults 25-54 #2 outright in adults 18-34.

NBC highlights for the week of July 8-14:

Monday: "American Ninja Warrior" (1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew versus 8-9 p.m. results for the prior week by 7% in 18-49 rating (1.6 vs. 1.5) and 9% in total viewers (5.1 million vs. 4.6 million). Versus the same night last year, "American Ninja Warrior" was up 14% in 18-49 rating (1.6 vs. 1.4) and up 27% in total viewers (5.1 million vs. 3.9 million). From its first half-hour to its second, "Ninja" jumped by 29% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.4).

The debut of "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) delivered the #1 debut 18-49 rating among all new reality shows so far this summer on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox (excludes the special preview of "The Winner Is...", 1.8 following "The Voice" on June 10). In the time slot, "Get Out Alive" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key adult-male demos.

"Siberia" (0.9/3 in adults 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key adult-male demos.

Tuesday: NBC finished #1 Tuesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key measures, led by "America's Got Talent" (2.6/8 in 18-49, 9.8 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET), the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key categories. "Talent" topped the #2 telecast of the night on those networks by a 73% margin in 18-49 (with a 2.6 rating from 9-11 p.m. vs. the 1.5 from 8-10 for Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance").

Week to week, "America's Got Talent" was up by 8% in 18-49 rating (to a 2.6 from a 2.4) and 3% in total viewers (9.8 million vs. 9.6 million).

At 8:30 p.m. ET, an original "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers) was up week to week by 25% in 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 0.8).

Wednesday: "America's Got Talent" (2.8/8 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) delivered the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers. The 2.8 for "Talent" is the best rating for any Wednesday primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since the May sweep and NBC's highest rating in the time period since November 28 ("SNL" special, 2.8 in the hour). In total viewers, the 10.7 million for "Talent" is also the top result since the May sweep for any Wednesday primetime program on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox, and it's NBC's biggest overall audience in the time period since November 7, 2012 (10.7 million for a special Wednesday edition of "The Voice").

The debut of "Camp" (1.5/5 in adults 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key ratings category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. "Camp" earned NBC's top 18-49 and total-viewer results in the slot, excluding Stanley Cup Hockey coverage, since May 22.

"Camp" scored the second-highest premiere rating for a scripted-series premiere out of eight new scripted shows this summer on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, behind only CBS's "Under the Dome."

Thursday: From 8-10 p.m. ET, "The Winner Is..." (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall for an 8-9 p.m. ET encore; 1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall with a 9-10 p.m. original) generated growth from every half-hour to the next in every key ratings measure: adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54.

The 9 p.m. ET regular-slot debut of "The Winner Is..." delivered NBC's top 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period, excluding the prior week's "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular," since May 16.

The debut of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.4/4 in 18-49 4.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49 and all other key demos. "Hollywood Game Night" scored NBC's top 18-49 rating in the hour since April 18. In total viewers, excluding the prior week's "Macy's 4th of July" encore, it's the biggest overall audience for NBC in the slot since April 11.

"Hollywood Game Night" delivered the second-highest rating among seven new reality shows debuting on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox so far this summer, behind only Monday's premiere of NBC's "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (1.5) (excludes the preview of "The Winner Is..." 1.8 following "The Voice" on 6/10).

Friday: "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) reported the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (with a 1.7 rating) and total viewers. NBC ranked #1 Friday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.

Sunday: An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 7-9 p.m. ET) grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 100% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 0.6) and by 68% or more than 2.1 million persons in total viewers (5.3 million vs. 3.2 million). By its final half-hour from 8:30-9 p.m., the "Talent" encore tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #2 outright among those nets in adults 25-54 and total viewers.
