UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 30, 2013 - The Tuesday edition of NBC's "America's Got Talent" has tied for the #1 rating among primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 for the week of July 22-28, and ranked #1 outright among those networks in adults 18-34, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11. Led by "Talent," NBC averaged a 1.1 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall for the week, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research.

The Wednesday edition of "America's Got Talent" ranked #4 for the week on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, with other top-rated NBC telecasts including Monday's "American Ninja Warrior" (tied for #13), Wednesday's "Talent" encore (tied for #13), Monday's "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (tied for #17), Thursday's "Hollywood Game Night" (tied for #20) and Friday's "Dateline NBC" (tied for #27).

Primetime averages for the week of July 22-28 in adults 18-49 are: Fox, 1.3/4; CBS, 1.2/4; NBC, 1.1/4; ABC, 1.0/3; and CW, 0.3/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 5.6 million; NBC, 4.5 million; ABC, 3.8 million; Fox, 3.2 million; and CW, 0.9 million.

Averages for the 2012-13 Broadcast Year to date are: CBS, 2.5/7; Fox, 2.3/7; NBC, 2.2/6; ABC, 2.1/6; and CW, 0.6/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 10.5 million; ABC, 7.3 million; NBC, 6.7 million; Fox, 6.4 million; and CW, 1.6 million.

For the 2012-13 broadcast year to date, NBC is running within a tenth of a rating point of #2 in 18-49 and is #2 in adults 25-54 and tied for #2 in adults 18-34.

NBC highlights for the week of July 22-28:

Monday: "American Ninja Warrior" (1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched its highest 8-9 p.m. rating in four telecasts so far this summer and hit a new total-viewer season high. "American Ninja Warrior" delivered half-hour to half-hour growth in every key ratings category, including a jump of 20% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.5).

"Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) grew week to week by 8% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.3). "Get Out Alive" has now delivered the highest week-one, week-two and week-three ratings of any new unscripted series this summer on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 (excluding previews of "The Winner Is..." that followed "The Voice" on June 10 and 17).

"A Dateline Special: The Little Prince" (1.0/3 in adults 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) reported three-week highs for NBC in the time period in 18-49, 25-54 (1.2 rating) and total viewers, best for the network in the slot since July 1.

Tuesday: NBC led Tuesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings measure, with "America's Got Talent" (2.8/8 in 18-49, 10.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) the night's #1 telecast on those networks in all categories, doubling the #2 telecast in 18-49 (with a 2.8 from 9-11 p.m. vs. the 1.4 from 8-10 for Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance"). The 2.8 for "America's Got Talent" is the highest non-sports 18-49 rating for any Tuesday telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since the "Voice" finale on June 18 (4.4). "America's Got Talent" is up 12% the prior week's 2.5 rating in 18-49 and in total viewers is up by 3 percent (10.4 million vs. 10.1 million), making this "Talent's" top Tuesday result in both measures since June 18.

An encore telecast of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.0/3 in 18-49 3.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 22% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 0.9) and by 9% in total viewers (3.5 million vs. 3.2 million). All four "Hollywood Game Night" telecasts to date (two Thursday originals at 10 p.m. ET and two Tuesday encores at 8 p.m.) have grown in 18-49 rating from their first half-hours to their second. "Hollywood Game Night" grew from its first half-hour to its second in every key ratings category.

Wednesday: The season's first results show of "America's Got Talent" (2.4/7 in 18-49, 10.6 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) grew versus last year's first results show by 4% in 18-49 rating (to a 2.4 rating from a 2.3) and 14% in total viewers (10.6 million vs. 9.3 million). Versus the same Wednesday last year, "Talent" is up 9% in 18-49 rating (2.4 vs. 2.2) and 21% in total viewers (10.6 million vs. 8.8 million). "America's Got Talent" delivered the #1 results of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

"Camp" (1.0/3 in adults 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall at 10:01 p.m. ET) ranked #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos. In its first three weeks, "Camp" has earned NBC's top three 18-49 and total-viewer results in the slot, excluding Stanley Cup Hockey, since May 22.

A recap encore edition of "America's Got Talent" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.

Thursday: "The Winner Is..." (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) grew from half-hour to half-hour by 25% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.8). All six Thursday telecasts of "The Winner Is..." (three 9 p.m. originals and three 8 p.m. encores) have grown from half-hour to half-hour.

"Hollywood Game Night" (1.3/4 in 18-49 3.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week by 8% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.2) to rank #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49 and all other key demos. "Game Night" grew from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.2) and has generated half-hour growth with all five telecasts to date (three Thursday originals and two Tuesday encores).

The 1.3 for "Hollywood Game Night" is the second-best week-three rating for a new reality show on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox this summer, behind only the 1.4 on Monday for "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls." "Get Out Alive" and "Hollywood Game Night" have delivered the best and second-best week-one, week-two and week-three ratings so far this summer for any new reality series on those networks.

NBC's Thursday lineup grew in 18-49 rating during every half-hour of primetime, with this track: 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.3.

Friday: NBC tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox Friday night in adults 18-49, led by "Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET). "Dateline" ranked #1 in the time period on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (with a 1.6 rating) and total viewers, marking the fifth week in a row "Dateline" has won its Friday time period among those networks in those three categories. Week to week, "Dateline" was up 17% in total viewers (5.883 million vs. 5.012 million)

Saturday: "Do No Harm" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week by a tenth of a rating point or 33% in 18-49 (to a 0.4 from a 0.3). "Do No Harm" grew from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49, 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.

Sunday: "Crossing Lines" (0.5/1 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew 5% week to week in total viewers (3.0 million vs. 2.8 million). From its first half-hour to its second, "Crossing Lines" maintained its 0.5 adult 18-49 rating and grew by 14% in adults 25-54 (to a 0.8 rating from a 0.7) and by 6% in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.9 million). "Crossing Lines" has now held steady or grown from 10 to 10:30 in 18-49 rating during five of six telecasts to date.
