July 2013 Is TV One's #1 Monthly Total Day Performance of All Time

Robust Slate of Original Programs Helps Deliver TV One's Best Month in Primetime Across All Key Demos and Most Online Traffic Year-to-Date

SILVER SPRING, MD, AUGUST 13, 2013 - TV One, which entertains, informs and inspires Black adult viewers, today announced that the network saw its highest monthly ratings in history among Households. In primetime, July was TV One's #1 month year-to-date among all major demos. The ratings success for the month was supported by reality series debut R&B Divas LA on July 10, the second season return of popular scripted comedy The Rickey Smiley Show on July 26, and new episodes of original docu-series Fatal Attraction. Traffic on the network's website, tvone.tv, received a boost from these three original series and related exclusive webisodes, garnering the biggest month of traffic in 2013 and the net's second biggest month of traffic since its August 2012 relaunch. The website also received the second biggest month of video traffic since its August 2012 relaunch, garnering 1.6 million video views.

In addition to the above, July marked the network's number two month ever within its core demographic of Adults 25-54, averaging a .13 Adult 25-54 coverage rating and delivering 80,000 Adults 25-54; a 29 percent year-over-year increase from July 2012. Among Households, the network averaged a .20 household coverage and delivered 115,000 households; a 15 percent year-over-year increase.

July TV One Programming Highlights

· R&B Divas LA is the number one Wednesday primetime reality series on cable year-to-date among Black Adults 25-54, as well as a top five July reality series among Total Adults 25-54 in Wednesday Primetime (#5). Versus season two of R&B Divas Atlanta, the series is up 16 percent within TV One's core demo of Adults 25-54 and up 8 percent among Households.

· Fatal Attraction has been a top two Monday primetime new original series on cable since its June 3 premiere among Black Adults 25-54 and a top five July original series among Black Adults 25-54 in the Monday 9pm-10pm time-slot. The series posted triple-digit gains versus prior time period delivery among Adults 25-54 and Households.

· The Rickey Smiley Show is the number one Friday primetime non-sports original series on cable year-to-date among Black Adults 25-54, as well as a top 10 Friday primetime sitcom in July among Adults 25-54 (#6) and Households (#8).The series posted triple-digit gains versus prior time period delivery among Adults 25-54 and Households.
