Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "Voice," "Blacklist" Top the Night for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/14/13):

New episodes of "The Voice" (13.788 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.5, #1) and "The Blacklist" (11.438 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.2, #2) handed NBC (13.004 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.0, #1) another victory on Monday.

FOX (7.318 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "Bones" (7.097 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.0, #9) and "Sleepy Hollow" (7.539 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.6, #4).

Next up was ABC (12.221 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3) with fresh installments of "Dancing with the Stars" (12.789 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #8) and "Castle" (11.087 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T6).

Meanwhile, CBS (7.020 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4) served up a new "How I Met Your Mother" (7.988 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.0, #3), the relocated "2 Broke Girls" (7.883 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.5, #5), a repeat of "The Big Bang Theory" (8.486 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T6) and new episodes of "Mom" (7.329 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.9, #10) and "Hostages" (5.217 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.2, #11).

And finally, new episodes of "Hart of Dixie" (1.070 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "Beauty and the Beast" (0.924 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (0.997 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Dixie" delivered a 0.7 rating while "Beast" posted a 0.5 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's original "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (10/15/12):

NBC (11.47 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.3, #1) was the network to beat as the Peacock saw week-to-week growth from "The Voice" (12.79 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.8, #1) and "Revolution" (8.82 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.4, #2).

CBS (8.23 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2) then took home the silver with its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (8.08 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 3.2, #4), "Partners" (6.21 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T6), "2 Broke Girls" (9.21 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.3, #3), "Mike & Molly" (9.03 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.0, #5) and "Hawaii Five-0" (8.44 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T8).

Next up was ABC (12.60 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3) with original installments of "Dancing with the Stars" (13.47 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T6) and "Castle" (10.87 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T8).

Meanwhile, FOX (4.75 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) was out of the hunt with its coverage of the "NLCS, Game 2" (4.75 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #10).

And finally, week two of "90210" (1.07 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11) and "Gossip Girl" (0.76 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) on The CW (0.92 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "90210" delivered a 1.0 rating while "Gossip Girl" posted a 0.8 rating.
