Adult Swim's Total Day Performance Ranked #1 Among Adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and Men 18-24 & 18-34 on Basic Cable

Adult Swim

For the second week of November, Adult Swim's Total Day performance ranked #1 among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-34 on basic cable. Earning substantial double-digit growth - between 24% and 35% - across the board compared to the same week in 2012, Adult Swim's Total Day averages grew among adults 18-24 by 30%, adults 18-34 by 35%, adults 18-49 by 32%, men 18-24 by 24%, men 18-34 by 35% and men 18-49 by 33%.

Compared to the same week in 2012, Adult Swim Primetime delivery also grew significantly among adults 18-24 by 21%, adults 18-34 by 31%, adults 18-49 by 31%, men 18-24 by 31%, men 18-34 by 40% and men 18-49 by 39%.

On Thursday night, Adult Swim original programming premieres--including The Greatest Event in Television History (12 a.m.), The Eric Andre Show (12:30 a.m.) and Hot Package (12:45 a.m.) - each grew all targeted young adult and young male demos by dramatic double and triple digits vs. the same time period last year, ranging between 56% and 163%.

On Sunday night, a new episode premiere of China, IL (11:30 p.m.) increased delivery across all targeted demos by double-digits vs. last year - adults 18-24 by 35%, adults 18-34 by 31%, adults 18-49 by 35%, men 18-24 by 35%, men 18-34 by 16% and men 18-49 by 25%.

Across the week, Adult Swim programming accounted for 23 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable among adults 18-34, and 22 of the top 50 with men 18-34, both more than any other network.

TBS

TBS ranked as basic cable's #1 entertainment network in primetime delivery of adult 18-49 for the week, driven in part by the second consecutive week of growth for the new series Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host and the continued strength of The Big Bang Theory.

Trust Me, I'm A Game Show Host scored its largest Live + 3 deliveries yet, with last week's episode drawing more than 1.3 million viewers (+4% vs. the prior week). In key demos, the show set new Live + 3 highpoints with 808,000 adults 18-49 (+21% vs. the prior week) and 462,000 adults 18-34 (+25%).

The Big Bang Theory on TBS accounted for all 20 of basic cable's Top 20 sitcom telecasts for the week among total viewers and adults 18-49. Last week's lineup included a special presentation of the episode that earned guest star Bob Newhart a long-deserved Emmy(R).

Cartoon Network

Across the second week of November 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network in Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) among boys 6-11 & 9-14.

Cartoon Network also scored as the #1 destination among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 on Monday Night (7-9 p.m.), with the night earning delivery gains among kids 6-11 and boys 6-11 & 9-14 vs. the same time last year. Among original programming highlights, the series premiere of Steven Universe (8 p.m.) stood out as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 9-14, #1 telecast of the day among boys 6-11 & 9-14, and #1 in its time period with all kids 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 and boys. The premiere increased deliveries across all targeted kids and boy demos vs. the same time period last year. Additionally, Emmy-winning Regular Show (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among kids 2-11 & 6-11 and all boys, earning gains among kids 2-11 & 6-11 vs. last year. Adventure Time (7 p.m.) charted #1 in its timeslot on television among boys 6-11 & 9-14.

Cartoon Network furthermore was the #1 television network among boys 6-11 & 9-14 on Tuesday Night (7-9 p.m.), earning year-over-year delivery growth among all targeted boy demos. The new episode premiere of Total Drama All-Stars (7 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11 & 9-14. Even more impressive, original animated series The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) won its timeslot among boys 6-11 & 9-14, scoring double-digit growth among all targeted kids and boy demos, ranging between 12% and 19%, vs. the same time period last year. Original series Uncle Grandpa (8 p.m.) also ranked #1 in its new timeslot among all targeted boys, earning delivery growth among kids 2-11 and all boy demos, between 2% and21% vs. last year's time period.

On Wednesday night, Cartoon Network again ranked as the #1 television network among boys 6-11 & 9-14 in Early Prime (7-9p), with new episode premieres of Johnny Test (7 p.m.) ranking #1 in its timeslot among boys 6-11 & 9-14, and Teen Titans Go! (7:30 p.m.) ranking #1 in its time period among kids 9-14 and all boys.

Finally, Cartoon Network claimed television's #1 network among boys 6-11 on Thursday Night (7-9 p.m.). A new episode premiere of Dragons: Defenders of Berk (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among boys 6-11, while also growing delivery among boys 6-11 (2%) & 9-14 (4%) vs. the same time period last year. Also, a new episode of Legends of Chima (7 p.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among boys 6-11.

Saturday morning new episode premieres of Tenkai Knights (7:30 a.m.) and Pokémon B&W: Adventures in Unova (8:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in their respective time periods among boys 9-14.

TNT

TNT's exclusive Thursday night NBA doubleheader - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Miami Heat and L.A. Lakers vs. Houston Rockets - averaged a 1.5 U.S. household rating and 2.4 million viewers, a remarkable increase of +45% over the same night's doubleheader last year.

truTV

truTV's hit series Impractical Jokers took in 1.2 million viewers Thursday night, a +5% increase over the prior week. In key demos, the show averaged 711,000 adults 18-49 (+5% vs. the previous week) and 374,000 men 18-49 (+25%). The show ranked among cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in the 10 p.m. timeslot with key male demos and led truTV to a Top 10 finish for the night across the board.

NBA TV

Through the opening week of the 2013-14 NBA regular season, NBA TV averaged 396,000 total viewers for six telecasts, an increase of +8% over the same time last year (366,000).
