TBS Scores Yet Another Demo Victory, Ranking as Basic Cable's #1 Entertainment Network in Primetime Delivery of Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 for the Week

TBS scored yet another demo victory, ranking as basic cable's #1 entertainment network in primetime delivery of adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 for the week.

The premiere episode of TBS's new original sitcom Ground Floor has climbed to 1.9 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, including 1.1 million adults 18-49.

The Big Bang Theory on TBS accounted for 19 of basic cable's Top 20 sitcom telecasts for the week among total viewers and 18 of the Top 20 among adults 18-49.

Adult Swim

For the third straight week this November, Adult Swim's Total Day Delivery averages ranked #1 on basic cable among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-34. Compared to the same week in 2012, Total Day Delivery grew by double digits across the board - adults 18-24 by 19%, adults 18-34 by 23%, adults 18-49 by 16%, men 18-24 by 10%, men 18-34 by 19% and men 18-49 by 18%.

Compared to the same week in 2012, Primetime delivery (broadcast definition) for Adult Swim increased by powerful double digits: adults 18-24 by 46%, adults 18-34 by 48%, adults 18-49 by 36%, men 18-24 by 66%, men 18-34 by 63% and men 18-49 by 57%.

Thursday night's episode premiere of the Adult Swim original series Eagleheart (12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24, while original series The Eric Andre Show (12:30 a.m.) ranked #1 among adults 18-24. Both series' performance grew targeted audience delivery by double digits across adults and men vs. the same time period last year, ranging between 10% and 44%.

The new episode premiere of original series China, IL (Sunday, 11:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24 & 18-34, increasing adults 18-34 delivery by 2% and men 18-24 by 4% vs. the same time last year.

Saturday night's TOONAMI block presentations of Bleach (12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24 & 18-34, while Naruto (12:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 and all targeted men demos. One Piece (1 a.m.) and Soul Eater (1:30 a.m.) both ranked #1 in their respective timeslots among adults 18-24 and men 18-24 & 18-34. Sword Art Online (2 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34. Both Naruto and One Piece increased dlievery of all key adult and male demos, while Soul Eater grew all key adults vs. the same time period last year.

Across the 3rd week of November, Adult Swim programming accounted for 25 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable among adults 18-34, and 23 of the top 50 among men 18-34, both more than any other network.

TNT

Through the first eight telecasts to start the 2013-14 NBA regular season, the NBA on TNT has reached more than 34.2 million total viewers*, an increase of +14% compared with 30.1 million total viewers to date last season. Additionally, TNT's NBA telecasts have attracted 10.5 million viewers in the key Men 18-49 demo, a +6% increase over last season through the same time period.

The most recent NBA on TNT doubleheader - Houston vs. New York; Oklahoma City vs. Golden State on Nov. 14 - averaged more than 1.9 million total viewers and a 1.4 U.S. HH rating, up 30% and 27% compared with an average of 1.5 million total viewers and a 1.1 U.S. HH rating for the corresponding doubleheader last season.

Cartoon Network

Across the third week of November 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 9-14.

Cartoon Network charted as television's #1 destination among boys 6-11 & 9-14 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday Night (7-9 p.m.), and the #1 destination among boys 6-11 on Thursday Night.

On Monday night, new episodes of Steven Universe (8 p.m.) and MAD (8:30 p.m.) both ranked #1 in their respective time periods among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, while Regular Show (7:30p) was #1 in its time period among boys 6-11 & 9-14.

Tuesday Night (7-9 p.m.) overall grew year-over-year among kids 6-11 and boys 2-11 & 6-11, ranging between 4% and 16%. The episode premiere of Total Drama All-Stars (7 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14, while growing among boys 6-11 by 13%. The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) won its timeslot among boys 6-11 & 9-14, while increasing delivery of kids 6-11 and boys 2-11 & 6-11 (between 3% and 25%) vs. the same time period last year. Uncle Grandpa (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its new timeslot with all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, increasing delivery of all kid demos and boys 2-11 & 6-11 ranging between 2% and 16% vs. the same time last year.

On Wednesday night, Teen Titans Go! (7:30 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14 and #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. Similarly on Thursday night, a new episode premiere of Dragons: Defenders of Berk (Thursday, 7:30p) ranked #1 in its timeslot among boys 6-11, while up with kids 9-14 and boys 9-14 vs. the same time period year ago.

Saturday morning episode premieres of Pokémon B&W: Adventures in Unova (8:30 a.m.) and Ben 10: Omniverse (9 a.m.) both ranked #1 in their respective time periods among boys 9-14.

truTV

truTV's hit series Impractical Jokers scored big growth last week. Thursday night's episode averaged 1.5 million viewers, a +20% increase over the prior week. In the demos, the episode drew 864,000 adults 18-49 (+22%) and 472,000 men 18-49 (+26%). It also led truTV to a Top 10 finish for the night among basic cable networks.
