"The Voice" Ranked #1 in the Time Period Among the Broadcast Networks in Adults 18-49 and Virtually All Other Key Demographics
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, November 18.

[via press release from NBC]

Monday Results (ABC carried the Patriots-Panthers NFL telecast in Boston and Charlotte):

NBC finished #1 Monday night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 with the #1 show of the night on those nets, "The Voice."

· From 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (3.4 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 10.5 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and virtually all other key demographics. Despite airing in an atypical 9-11 p.m. time period, "The Voice" finished within a tenth of a point of the comparable third live Monday telecast of the prior cycle (3.4 vs. 3.5 from 8-10:01 p.m. on May 20) and was within 3% in total viewers (10.482 million vs. 10.814 million), pending updates.

· "The Voice" won the 9-10 p.m. hour among the Big 4 by a 40% margin in adults 18-49 (with a 3.5 rating vs. a 2.5 each for ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" and Fox's "Sleepy Hollow") and "The Voice" took the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC by a 43% margin (3.3 vs. 2.3 for ABC's "Castle" [Note that ABC's results may be inflated by local NFL coverage]).

· "The Voice" is #1 for the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and other key categories.

· From 8-9 p.m. ET, a recap telecast of "The Voice" (2.2/6 in adults 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall) tied for #2 among the Big 4 against original competition in the time period, matching ABC's "Dancing" and Fox's regular-slot debut of "Almost Human." The 8 p.m. "Voice" recap also tied "Almost Human" in adults 18-34 (1.7 each) and out-rated it in adults 25-54 (2.8 vs. 2.7), as well as in all key adult-female demos.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.1/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.5/7.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.8/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
