Matching a season high and growing year to year during the week of November 18, 2013, ABC finished a strong second to an NFL-ignited NBC in Adults 18-49 (2.3/7 vs. 2.6/7), leading Fox (with a big Sunday NFL overrun) by 15% (2.0/6) and CBS by 21% (1.9/5). In fact excluding sports, ABC (2.4 rating) led the week in Adults 18-49 by wide margins over CBS (+26% - 1.9 rating), Fox (+41% - 1.7 rating) and NBC (+50% - 1.6 rating). The Net was also up the most over the same week last year, gaining 10% in Adults 18-49 (2.1/6 on w/o 11/19/12).

· ABC earned season highs in Total Viewers (8.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.3/7-tied w/season-premiere week), delivering its most-watched non-"Oscar" week in 2 years - since w/o 11/21/11.

Rankings: ABC claimed 5 of the Top 20 TV programs in Adults 18-49, including the No. 1 10 o'clock program with "Scandal:" "American Music Awards" - No. 6, "Modern Family" - No. 9, "Scandal" - No. 14 (No. 1 10 o'clock show), while "Grey's Anatomy" and "David Blaine: Real or Magic" tied at No. 19. In addition, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" outdrew NBC's "The Voice" as TV's most-watched unscripted series for the 4th consecutive week and ranked among the Top 10 programs overall for the 9th straight week this season. ABC's "AMAs" was the week's No. 1 TV show in Teens 12-17 as it hit a 9-year high.

Monday

ABC was Monday's most-watched broadcaster for the 3rd week in a row (12.9 million). ABC's "Dancing" once again delivered more viewers than NBC's "The Voice" (13.8 million vs. 10.8 million) to lead by its biggest margin this season (3.0 million). ABC's "Castle" (10.9 million) stood as the night's most-watched scripted TV show for the 5th time in its last 6 telecasts and outdrew its drama competition on the evening by wide margins, including the Monday premiere of Fox's "Almost Human" (6.8 million), "Sleepy Hollow" (7.1 million) and CBS' "Hostages" (4.5 million).

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-10:01 p.m. - 13.8 million and 2.0/5 in AD18-49):

Building its numbers in the semi-finals, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was Monday's most-watched entertainment show for the 4th week in a row. Leah Remini was the next celebrity dancer eliminated this season.

· Growing week to week in Total Viewers (+10%) and Adults 18-49 (+18%), "DWTS" drew its biggest audience since its season premiere - since 9/16/13.

"Castle" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 10.9 million and 1.9/5 in AD18-49):

During the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "Castle" stood as the most-watched show, topping the final hour of NBC's "The Voice" (10.9 million vs. 10.5 million). "Castle" was up week to week in Total Viewers (+8%) with its biggest audience in 5 weeks - since 10/14/13.

Tuesday

ABC took second place on Tuesday in Adults 18-49 (2.3/7 - tied w/NBC), while winning the night in Adults 18-34 and key Men (M18-34/M18-49).

· In viewers and young adults, the Net earned its strongest performance on the night in 8 weeks - since season premiere Tuesday on 9/24/13.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (8:00-9:01 p.m. - 6.9 million and 2.4/7 in AD18-49):

At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." grew week to week in Total Viewers (+3%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%). The freshman ABC drama earned a strong second in the hour in Adults 18-49 to CBS' top-rated "NCIS," leading by strong margins over NBC's "The Biggest Loser" (+26% - 1.9/6) and Fox's comedies (+71% over "Dads"/"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" = 1.4/4).

· The new ABC drama was the No. 1 series in the hour with Men 18-34 for its 8th straight original telecast and was once again Tuesday's No. 1 TV show with Men 18-49.

"The Goldbergs" (9:01-9:31 p.m. - 5.0 million and 1.6/4 in AD18-49):

In the 9:00 p.m. half-hour, ABC freshman "The Goldbergs" outdrew Fox's "New Girl" (3.3 million and 1.7/5) by 1.7 million viewers and paced within 1-tenth of the veteran comedy in Adults 18-49 to stand as Tuesday's most-watched comedy overall for the 9th consecutive week.

· "The Goldbergs" posted strong year-to-year improvement in the slot, growing the half-hour by 14% in Total Viewers and 45% in Adults 18-49 over "Happy Endings" on the year-ago night (4.4 million and 1.1/3 on 11/20/12).

"David Blaine: Real or Magic" (9:31-11:00 p.m. - 7.8 million and 2.6/7 in AD18-49):

From 9:31-11:00 p.m., ABC's special "David Blaine: Real or Magic" took first place in its time period with Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34. In fact, from 10:00-11:00 p.m. in Adults 18-49, "David Blaine" (2.7/8) beat out CBS' "Person of Interest" by 35% (2.0/6) and NBC's "The Voice"- boosted "Chicago Fire" by 42% (1.9/5).

· In Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, "David Blaine: Real or Magic" delivered season-highs for ABC in the 90-minute time period. In addition, the special scored ABC's highest Men 18-34 rating in the slot with entertainment programming in 3 years - since 11/23/10.

Wednesday

ABC delivered a strong second place on Wednesday in Adults 18-49 (2.1/6), beating Fox by 24% (1.7/5) and NBC by 50% (1.4/4). The Net also took second on the night in Total Viewers (7.0 million) and finished No. 1 with Adults 18-34 (1.4/5-tie).

· ABC's "Modern Family" was Wednesday's No. 1 TV show in Adults 18-49, standing as the night's highest-rated series on each first-run telecast this season.

"The Middle" (8:00-8:30 p.m. - 8.5 million and 2.3/7 in AD18-49):

At 8:00 p.m., "The Middle" ran neck-and-neck with CBS' "Survivor" for No. 1 in its half-hour in Adults 18-49 (2.3/7 vs. 2.4/8), while beating the CBS unscripted series by double digits with Adults 18-34 (+25%), Men 18-34 (+20%) and Women 18-34 (+29%).

· The ABC comedy was up for its 2nd consecutive telecast with Teens 12-17 (+4%) to a new season-high.

"Back in the Game" (8:30-9:00 p.m. - 6.1 million and 1.6/5 in AD18-49):

In the 8:30 p.m. half-hour, ABC's "Back in the Game" beat NBC's fall finale of "Revolution" by 1.0 million viewers (6.1 million vs. 5.0 million) and by 23% in Adults 18-49 (1.6/5 vs. 1.3/4), and also drew a larger audience than Fox's "The X Factor" (5.7 million).

"Modern Family" (9:00-9:31 p.m. - 10.2 million and 3.4/9 in AD18-49):

More than doubling its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. (+113%), ABC's "Modern Family" continued to dominate its slot in Adults 18-49, topping runner-up CBS' "Criminal Minds" by 26% (2.7/7).

"Super Fun Night" (9:31-10:00 p.m. - 5.5 million and 1.8/5 in AD18-49):

In the 9:30 p.m. half-hour, ABC's "Super Fun Night" took second place in Adults 18-49, beating Fox's "The X Factor" by 6% (1.7/5) and NBC's "L&O: SVU" by 13% (1.6/5).

"Nashville" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.8 million and 1.6/5 in AD18-49):

During the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "Nashville" (5.8 million and 1.6/5) was up for its 2nd straight telecast in Total Viewers (+5%) and Adults 18-49 (+7%), drawing its biggest audience in 5 weeks and equaling a 7-week high with young adults - since 10/16/13 and 10/2/13, respectively.

Thursday

ABC ran a strong No. 2 on Thursday in Adults 18-49 (2.1/6) among the broadcast nets, outdelivering Fox by 40% (1.5/4) and NBC by 110% (1.0/3). In addition, the Net beat out its broadcast competition in Adults 18-34 and won the night among key Women (W18-34/W18-49).

· In Adults 18-49, ABC's "Scandal" finished as the No. 2 TV show of the night for the 3rd week in row, behind only CBS' "The Big Bang Theory." In addition, "Scandal" and "Grey's Anatomy" continued to stand as Thursday's Top 2 dramas with young adults.

"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 3.5 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49):

From 8:00-9:00pm, ABC's "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" drew 25% more viewers in the hour than NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and paced within 1-tenth in Adults 18-49 ("Parks and Rec" = 2.8 million and 1.0/3). The ABC freshman drama held steady week to week in Adults18-49.

"Grey's Anatomy" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 8.6 million and 2.6/7 in AD18-49):

Building on its lead-in by 189% at 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" dominated its competition in Adults 18-49, beating out CBS' comedies in the hour by 24% ("The Crazy Ones"/"Two and a Half Men" = 2.1/6), Fox's "Glee" by 86% (1.4/4) and NBC's comedies by 189% ("Sean Saves the World"/"The Michael J Fox Show" = 0.9/2).

· "Grey's Anatomy" was up week to week in Total Viewers and held 100% in Adults 18-49.

· In the most recent week of L7 data, "Grey's" was broadcast TV's top gainer in Adults 18-49 with a 2.0 rating point increase from its L+SD number and delivered a season-high build of 4.1 million Total Viewers.

"Scandal" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 8.9 million and 2.9/8 in AD18-49):

Gaining on its "Grey's" lead-in by 12% in Adults 18-49 and holding even week to week, ABC's "Scandal" nearly beat CBS and NBC combined in the 10:00 p.m. hour, leading "Elementary" by 61% (1.8/5) and "Parenthood" by 142% (1.2/3).

· On average, "Scandal" is up 68% over the same point last year in Adults 18-49, making it TV's fastest-growing returning series this season and ABC's highest-rated show in the time slot since "Lost" during the 2007-08 season.

· In the most recent week of L7 data, "Scandal" jumped 1.7 rating points in Adults 18-49 to earn the series' biggest-ever increase from its L+SD number.

Social Stats: "Scandal" continued to rank as Thursday's No. 1 most social TV show with 395,563 tweets, increasing 13% week to week to its 2nd-highest number this season.

Friday

ABC ranked No. 1 on the final Friday of the November Sweep in Adults 18-49 (tie), beating NBC by 36% (1.1/4) and Fox by 25% (1.2/4). The Net tied its 2nd-highest Friday rating this season.

· Rising 6% over the prior week, ABC's "Shark Tank" was once again Friday's No. 1 TV show in Adults 18-49 (1.8/6), finishing as the November Sweep's top-rated program on the night.

· ABC's "20/20" was the night's No. 2 TV show in Adults 18-49 (1.6/5) and Adults 25-54 (2.3/7-tie) and continued its run as Friday's No. 1 newsmagazine, outperforming NBC's "Dateline" (8:00-9:00 p.m.) by strong double-digit margins in Total Viewers (+18% - 6.5 million vs. 5.5 million), Adults 18-49 (+45% - 1.6/5 vs. 1.1/4) and Adults 25-54 (+53% - 2.3/7 vs. 1.5/4). "20/20" hit season highs with Adults 18-49 (tie) and Adults 25-54, posting a 14-month high in the key news demo - since 9/14/12.

"Last Man Standing" (8:00-8:31 p.m. - 6.2 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49): At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "Last Man Standing" was up week to week in viewers and held steady in Adults 18-49.

"The Neighbors" (8:31-9:00 p.m. - 4.0 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): At 8:30 p.m., ABC's "The Neighbors" was up 13% week to week in Adults 18-49.

"Shark Tank" (9:00-10:01 p.m. - 6.9 million and 1.8/6 in AD18-49): Doubling its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. in Adults 18-49, ABC's "Shark Tank" led its hour by double-digit percentages over CBS' "Hawaii Five-0" (+20% - 1.5/5), NBC's JFK news special (+64% - 1.1/4) and Fox's comedies (+125% - "Raising Hope"/"Raising Hope" - 0.8/3). Season to date, "Shark Tank" is up 14% in Adults 18-49 over the same point last year to the series' best performance ever.

"20/20" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 6.5 million and 1.6/5 in AD18-49): ABC's "20/20" ranked No. 1 in the 10 o'clock hour in Adults 18-49 (1.6/5) and Adults 25-54 (2.3/7-tie), outdelivering the final hour of NBC's 2-hour news special (1.0/3 and 1.5/4) by 60% and 53%, respectively. Saturday

With college football coverage (Baylor at Oklahoma State), ABC dominated Saturday night in Total Viewers (6.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.1/7), towering over Fox's college football coverage (2.6 million and 0.7/2 from 8:00-10:00 p.m.) by 165% in Viewers and by 200% among young adults. In fact, among Adults 18-49, ABC nearly matched the combined deliveries of NBC, CBS and Fox (2.1/7 vs. 2.2/7). Growing for the 2nd week in a row in both Total Viewers (+53%) and Adults 18-49 (+91%), ABC scored its 2nd-largest audience on the night.

· ABC's "Saturday Night Football" was the evening's most-watched program (6.6 million) and, for the 2nd consecutive week, the night's highest-rated show among Adults 18-49 (2.0/7). "Saturday Night Football" scored its best numbers in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 in 3 weeks - since 11/2/13.

Sunday

With the "2013 American Music Awards" up against big NFL-driven competition, ABC posted season highs on Sunday night in Total Viewers (11.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.8/9).

"2013 American Music Awards" (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 13.1 million and 4.5/11 in AD18-49):

Opposite huge NFL-fueled competition on the evening, including a high-profile overtime Sunday Night Football contest (Broncos-Patriots) and an NFL overrun-boosted Fox (Cowboys-Giants), ABC's broadcast of the "2013 American Music Awards" made it the dominant No. 1 non-sports net from 8:00-11:00 p.m. in Total Viewers (13.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.5/11).

· Surging by over 30% year to year in Total Viewers (+38%) and Adults 18-49 (+32%), the "American Music Awards" earned 4-year highs in viewers and young adults (since 2009), representing the show's 2nd-biggest audience in 11 years (since 2002). Hosted by Pitbull, the "AMAs" spiked 86% year to year in Teens 12-17 to deliver a 9-year high (since 2004) and rank as the No. 1 TV show of the week (beating Sunday Night Football and everything on cable, including "The Walking Dead").

· Despite the substantial competition, the "2013 AMAs" scored ABC's highest entertainment numbers in the 3-hour time period in 9 months with viewers and young adults - since the "Academy Awards" on 2/24/13.

· ABC's "American Music Awards" stood as the No. 1 most social program on television Sunday (including all sports and all cable across the entire day) with 7.6 million tweets. In fact, 10.2 Million people in the U.S. saw Tweets about the "2013 American Music Awards" on Sunday, with each person seeing, on average, 30 Tweets about the show.
