Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demos with "Voice," "Blacklist"

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/25/13):

NBC (11.136 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.2, #1) lead the demo race on Monday with new episodes of "The Voice" (11.289 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.3, #1) and "The Blacklist" (10.832 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.0, #2).

ABC (13.276 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T2) then was the most-watched network with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (14.239 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T6) and "Castle" (11.350 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #9).

Next up was CBS (6.800 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T2) and its combination of "How I Met Your Mother" (8.024 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.9, #3), "2 Broke Girls" (7.901 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.7, #4), "Mike & Molly" (8.432 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.5, #5), "Mom" (7.297 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T6) and "Hostages" (4.574 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (6.294 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T2) served up new episodes of "Almost Human" (6.031 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.9, #10) and "Sleepy Hollow" (6.556 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T6).

And finally, the fall finales of "Hart of Dixie" (1.015 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "Beauty and the Beast" (0.825 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (0.920 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Dixie" delivered a 0.5 rating while "Beast" posted a 0.4 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (11/26/12):

NBC (11.03 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.8, #1) emerged from the holiday weekend on top with a new "The Voice" (12.19 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.2, #1) and the fall finale of "Revolution" (8.71 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.9, #6).

CBS (10.15 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.1, #2) then took home the silver with its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (8.77 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 3.4, #4), a repeat of "The Big Bang Theory" (9.00 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.2, #5), "2 Broke Girls" (11.68 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.0, #2), "Mike & Molly" (11.25 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.6, #3) and "Hawaii Five-0" (10.11 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T8).

Next up was ABC (9.34 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T3) with the penultimate "Dancing with the Stars" (16.03 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #7) followed by the return of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (6.74 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #10) and a second "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (5.24 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T11).

Meanwhile, FOX (5.96 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T3) shared the bronze with originals from "Bones" (7.92 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T8) and "The Mob Doctor" (4.00 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T11).

And finally, new episodes of "90210" (1.03 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13) and "Gossip Girl" (0.85 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #14) on The CW (0.94 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) rounded out the night.
