Adult Swim's Average Total Day Delivery Ranks #1 with Adults 18-24 Across the First Week of 2014
Turner spins the numbers for the week of December 30-January 5.

Across the first week of 2014, Adult Swim's average Total Day Delivery ranked #1 with adults 18-24, and #2 (behind only ESPN) among adults 18-34 and young male demos 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49 on basic cable.

Thursday night's episode premiere of Eagleheart (12 a.m.) grew by double-digits across all targeted adult and male demos vs. the same time period last year, ranging between 31% and 77%.

Kicking off Adult Swim's popular TOONAMI block in 2014 on Saturday night, Bleach (12 a.m.), One Piece (1 a.m.), and Soul Eater (1:30 a.m.) each ranked #1 in their respective timeslots among adults 18-24 and men 18-24 & 18-34. The series premiere of Space Dandy (11:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period with men 18-24 & 18-34. Naruto (12:30 a.m.) and Sword Art Online (2 a.m.) ranked #1 in their respective timeslots among men 18-24.

Cartoon Network

Cartoon Network last week scored as the #1 television network in Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) among boys 2-11 & 9-14 on Monday Night, among boys 6-11 & 9-14 on Tuesday Night, and among boys 6-11 on Wednesday Night.

Tuesday night's 7-9 p.m. performance grew by double-digits vs. the same time period last year among kids 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 and all boy demos, ranging from 11% to 42%. The new episode premiere of the animated comedy series Regular Show (7 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 6-11 & 9-14 and #1 in its time period among all targeted boys, scoring double and triple-digit growth among all kids and boys (38% to 136%).

Wednesday night's 7-9 p.m. performance also grew among all kids 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, and boys 2-11 & 9-14, ranging between 6% and 13%.

TNT

TNT's hit drama Major Crimes ranked as basic cable's #1 original series for the third consecutive week. The Monday, Dec. 30, episode scored the show's best performance of the winter, with more than 7.2 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery (+20% vs. the prior week). Major Crimes also drew 2.2 million adults 25-54 in Live + 3 (+24% vs. the prior week) and more than 1.5 million adults 18-49 (+25%).

TBS

TBS's Ground Floor scored its biggest Live + 3 demo deliveries of its first season, with last Thursday's episode drawing 1.2 million adults 18-49 (+2% vs. the prior week) and 647,000 adults 18-34 (+18%). The comedy drew a total of 1.8 million viewers in Live + 3.

TBS's telecasts of The Big Bang Theory accounted for all 15 of basic cable's Top 15 sitcom telecasts among total viewers last week, as well as 9 of the Top 10 sitcom telecasts among adults 18-49.

truTV

truTV's hit series Impractical Jokers launched its third season last Thursday, drawing 1.5 million viewers and ranking among cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in the timeslot with key demos. The premiere was followed by truTV's new comedic competition series Panic Button, which drew its largest audience yet with a fourth consecutive week of growth.

truTV's digital strength continued in the first week of the new year as truTV.com scored 6 million page views (+2% vs. prior week) and 1.3 million visits (+18%). On-site video views enjoyed a tremendous boost of +141% over the prior week.
