(1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall) retained 100% of its lead-in from "Law & Order: SVU" (1.5/4 at 9), up from last week's 95% retention (2.0 vs. 2.1 last week versus lesser competition at both 9 and 10 p.m.). Facing competition from the "Duck Dynasty" season premiere and dramas on ABC and CBS for the first time, last night's "Chicago P.D." outrated ABC's "Nashville" (1.3/4) in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and total viewers. · "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.5/4 in adults 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) built by on its lead-in from "Revolution" by 15% in 18-49 rating and by 11% in total viewers (5.458 million vs. 4.908 million). "SVU" held steady or grew in every key measure from half-hour to half-hour, despite last night's return of competition from "Criminal Minds" and the premiere of "American Idol."

· L+3 Time-Shifting: Last week's "SVU" added 41% or 0.87 of a point to last week's next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 3.01 in L+3 from a 2.14 in L+SD) and 2.360 million viewers overall (11.209 million vs. 8.849 million).

· "Revolution" averaged a 1.3/4 in adults 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET against the premiere of Fox's "American Idol." L+3 Time-Shifting: Last week's "Revolution" added 43% or 0.66 of a point to last week's next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 2.19 in L+3 from a 1.53 in L+SD) and 1.689 million viewers overall (7.618 million vs. 5.929 million).
