NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, January 30.

[via press release from NBC]

Thursday Primetime Results:

· Despite facing original competition from CBS's "Big Bang Theory" for the first time in three weeks, "Community" (1.1/3 in adults 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET) matched its 18-49 ratings of the prior two weeks, which were achieved versus encore competition from "Big Bang." L+7 Time-Shifting: This season's first two weeks of "Community" have added an average 38% or 0.50 of a rating point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating in "live plus seven day" results (to a 1.83 in L+7 from a 1.33 L+SD).

· Despite facing original competition from CBS's comedy lineup for the first time in three weeks, "Parks and Recreation" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET) equaled its 18-49 ratings of the prior two weeks, which were scored while the CBS competition was in rebroadcast. Last night's "Parks" built on its "Community" lead-in by 9% in adults 18-49. L+7 Time-Shifting: In the fourth quarter, "Parks and Rec" increased by an average of 50% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.2) and 1.0 million viewers overall (4.1 million vs. 3.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7 ratings.

· "Saturday Night Live Presents a SNL Sports Spectacular" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m.) scored NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since the Dec. 5 telecast of "The Sound of Music Live!" Excluding that special and NFL football on Thanksgiving, these are NBC's best results in the time slot since Sept. 26. In the time period, "Saturday Night Live Presents a SNL Sports Spectacular" is #2 in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, just a tenth of a point out of first place versus mostly original competition, and #1 among those nets in adults, men and women 18-34.

· This is the #2 primetime "SNL" special so far this season among six telecast thus far (four listed as original specials and two as encores) in 18-49, behind only the Dec. 4 telecast of "Saturday Night Live Christmas" (2.6/8 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall).
