GSN FOLLOWS UP ON ITS BEST YEAR EVER WITH JANUARY 2014 SETTING RATINGS RECORDS AS THE BEST MONTH IN NETWORK HISTORY

Ratings Success Fueled by Hugely Popular Original Series THE CHASE

February 05, 2014 (Santa Monica, CA) -- GSN shattered ratings records last year and is off to the same record-setting start in 2014. GSN announced today that January 2014 ended as the top month in the network's history, delivering its largest total day audience in key demos including HH, P2+, W2+ and W25-54.

Double-digit growth in key demos propelled GSN to become one of the top 10 fastest-growing ad supported cable networks in January among women and persons 25-54. GSN's year-over-year delivery increased double digits in both total day, P-25-54 rose +34% and W25-54 rose +38% and primetime where P25-54 rose +46% and W25-54 rose +47%.

January's ratings success was driven in part by GSN's hit original primetime series THE CHASE and MIND OF A MAN. THE CHASE has been garnering critical acclaim, fervent fans and stellar ratings growth throughout its second season, which kicked off in November. Since launching its first season in August, THE CHASE has established itself as one of GSN's most popular original series ever and has been seen by more than 15 million total viewers and 3 million W25-54.

GSN's newest original series, MIND OF A MAN premiered in a two-hour block on January 8, 2014 and increased the time period in key demos W18-49 +24% and W25-54 +48%. MIND OF A MAN was watched by 6.5 million total viewers in January.

Based on the hit U.K. show of the same name, GSN's THE CHASE is hosted by Brooke Burns and features Mark Labbett as "The Beast." The one-hour show pits three contestants in a fast-paced quiz competition against "The Beast," an all-knowing, opponent whose job is to "chase" the contestants out of their money.

MIND OF A MAN, hosted by DeRay Davis, features two female contestants, who try to figure out what men really think about dating, marriage, working and all manner of manly pursuits with the help of a celebrity panel.
