Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "The Voice" Top Demo Race

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/25/14):

NBC (9.249 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) was the top demo draw on Tuesday with night two of "The Voice" (12.965 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.7, #1) premiere followed by encores of "About a Boy" (8.344 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T3) and "Growing Up Fisher" (7.036 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.0, #6) plus a new "Chicago Fire" (7.091 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.8, #7).

CBS (13.587 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) then claimed the silver with the return of "NCIS" (16.887 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (13.096 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #5) and "Person of Interest" (10.778 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #8).

Next up was ABC (6.611 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) with a special "The Bachelor" (8.116 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T3) followed by the premiere of "Mind Games" (3.599 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T12).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.827 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) offered up the relocated "Glee" (2.918 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #11) alongside fresh installments of "New Girl" (2.847 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.4, #9) and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.627 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.3, #10).

And finally, The CW (2.158 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5) wrapped up the evening with new episodes of "The Originals" (1.877 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #14) and "Supernatural" (2.439 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T12). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Originals" delivered a 1.1 rating while "Supernatural" posted a 1.1 rating.

·In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.7/8; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

·From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

·From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (2.2/8 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (1.0/7 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

·At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.2/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (2/26/13):

CBS (15.917 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1) was the network to beat on Tuesday with new episodes of "NCIS" (20.479 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (16.812 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2) and the launch of "Golden Boy" (10.460 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #5).

ABC (5.805 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2) then claimed the silver with the return of "Celebrity Wife Swap" (6.996 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3) followed by new episodes of "The Taste" (4.107 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T8) and "Body of Proof" (6.312 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #12).

Sharing second place was FOX (3.558 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2) and its lineup of "Raising Hope" (3.574 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.5, #7), a second "Raising Hope" (3.184 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T8), "New Girl" (4.285 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.3, #4) and "The Mindy Project" (3.190 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.6, #6).
