Wednesday Primetime Results:
· "Revolution" (1.3/4 in adults 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched its prior two 18-49 ratings and was up week to week in total viewers by 3% (4.770 million vs. 4.629 million). From its first half-hour to its second, "Revolution" grew by 8% in adult 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.3). Note that the prior "Revolution" grew by 52% in L+3 versus these L+SD figures (to a 1.96 rating from a 1.29).
· "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.6/4 in adults 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) built on its 18-49 lead-in by 23% and its total-viewer lead-in by 26%. "SVU" grew half-hour to half-hour in most key measures, including a gain of 7% in adult 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.5). L+3 Time-Shifting: Note that the prior "SVU" grew by 40% in L+3 versus these L+SD figures (to a 2.82 rating from a 2.01).
· From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "Chicago P.D." (1.5/5 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall) retained 94% of its 18-49 lead-in and built slightly on its total-viewer lead-in. "Chicago P.D." finished within 0.2 of a point of the time-slot lead among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and was #1 among those networks in adults 18-34.
· In its first seven weeks on the schedule, "Chicago P.D." has now generated NBC's seven best 18-49 results in the time period, excluding Olympics and "Saturday Night Live" specials, since Sept. 25, 2013.
· L+3 Time-Shifting: Last week's crossover episode of "Chicago P.D.," in addition to setting a L+SD series high in adults 18-49, grew in L+3 by a best-yet 0.89 of a point (to a 3.08 from a 2.19, +41%).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.3/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "Tonight," 1.3/6; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
