ABC's "Once Upon a Time" Is Sunday's #1 Broadcast/"It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" Is Up 50% Year to Year

ABC Sunday Prime (7-11pm - 4.6 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): ABC earned second place on Easter Sunday in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. ABC's Once Upon a Time stood as Sunday's #1 broadcast series in Adults 18-49.

It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown & Charlie Brown All Stars (7-8pm - 3.5 million and 0.9/4 in AD18-49): During the 7pm hour, ABC's annual broadcast of It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown & Charlie Brown All Stars was up over its year-ago airing (3/31/13) by 35% in Total Viewers (3.5 million vs. 2.6 million) and by 50% in Adults 18-49 (0.9/4 vs. 0.6/2).

Once Upon a Time (8-9pm - 5.7 million and 1.7/5 in AD18-49): Spiking 89% over its lead-in 8pm, ABC's Once Upon a Time (1.7/5) continued to win its hour in Adults 18-49, beating CBS' Amazing Race (1.6/5) to finish #1 against its regular competition for the 7th straight week.

Hallmark Hall of Fame: In My Dreams (9-11pm - 4.6 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): From 9-11pm, Hallmark Hall of Fame: In My Dreams made ABC the #2 most-watched network in its 2-hour time period to CBS, outdrawing NBC's first-run dramas by 10% (4.6 million vs. 4.2 million for Believe/Crisis). A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 49% currently, from 47% at the same point in 2013. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.
