"60 Minutes" is the Night's Most-Watched Program, Up in Key Demos From Last Week

"The Amazing Race" Also Posts Demo Growth

"The Good Wife" and "The Mentalist" Win in Viewers

CBS swept every hour on Sunday in viewers with 60 MINUTES, THE AMAZING RACE, THE GOOD WIFE and THE MENTALIST, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for April 27.

60 MINUTES was first in viewers (10.33m) and adults 25-54 (2.1/06), and was second in adults 18-49 (1.4/05, up +27% from last week's special).

THE AMAZING RACE was first in viewers (8.55m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.6/07, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (1.9/06, up +12% from last week's special).

THE GOOD WIFE was first in viewers (9.26m), second in adults 25-54 (2.0/05) and averaged 1.3/03 in adults 18-49.

THE MENTALIST was first in viewers (8.68m) and adults 25-54 (1.8/04), and tied for first with ABC in adults 18-49 (1.2/03).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (9.20m), second in adults 25-54 (2.1/05, -0.1 behind ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.5/04, with FOX, -0.2 behind ABC). CBS won Sunday in viewers for the eighth consecutive week.
