"TONIGHT SHOW" DOMINATES TIMESLOT COMPETITION, WINNING IN ALL KEY RATINGS CATEGORIES FOR WEEK OF JUNE 2-6

Despite Kimmel's NBA Finals Lead-In on Thursday, Fallon Wins 11:35 P.M. Timeslot for the Week, While Meyers Also Defeats ABC, CBS Programming

NEW YORK - June 12, 2014 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" remained the dominant late-night choice during the week of June 2-6, with "Tonight" topping ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" for the week in every key ratings measure. Despite an NBA Finals boost for Kimmel on Thursday, Fallon won all five nights of the week versus those shows in total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" also continues to deliver decisive wins, out-rating CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" despite starting an hour later than "Late Show."

Note: Meyers, Kimmel and Letterman were in rebroadcast on Friday night and Thursday's ABC shows were delayed by a high-rated NBA overrun.

In the 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET hour, Meyers outdelivered CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers - and also topped ABC's "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m. in every key category.

For the week, Fallon averaged a 1.12 rating in adults 18-49, a +27% increase versus "Tonight's" rating for the same week last year. Fallon outscored ABC's NBA Finals-boosted Kimmel in 18-49 by a +45% margin in 18-49 (1.12 vs.0.77) and by a +27% margin in total viewers (3.502 million vs. 2.763 million). The margins over Letterman were +155% in 18-49 (1.12 vs. 0.44) and +41% in total viewers (3.502 million vs. 2.482 million).

Meyers' 0.59 rating in 18-49 topped the 0.44 of Letterman at 11:35 p.m. and more than doubled CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.28) head to head. For the 12:30-1 a.m. half-hour, Meyers beat "Nightline" by a +64% margin in 18-49 (0.69 vs. 0.42 for that half-hour).
