NBC Wins Tuesday in 18-49 and Total Viewers with the #1 and #2 Shows of the Night, "America's Got Talent" and "The Night Shift"
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, June 17.

Tuesday Results:

NBC won Tuesday night in 18-49 and total viewers among the Big 4:

· With the #1 and #2 shows of the night, "America's Got Talent" and "The Night Shift."

· Leading six of six half-hours in 18-49 and total viewers.

· With both "Talent" and "Night Shift" winning their slots among the Big 4 in every key measure.

· "America's Got Talent" (2.6/9 in 18-49, 11.3 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) retained 100% of last week's 2.6 rating in adults 18-49, which was the #1 non-sports rating of the week on the Big 4 networks. "Talent" won the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key measure and is the #1 telecast of the night in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. "Talent" grew steadily throughout its two hours, with this half-hour track: 2.2, 2.5, 2.7, 2.9. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Talent" grew by +32% in 18-49 (to a 2.9 from a 2.2) and by +19% or 1.9 million persons in total viewers (12.0 million vs. 10.1 million).

· "America's Got Talent" matched the 2.6 rating of last year's fourth episode (which aired from 9-11 p.m. on June 25, 2013) in 18-49 and was up +10% in total viewers, (11.253 million vs. 10.232 million viewers overall).

· "America's Got Talent" (2.6/9) beat the combined ABC-CBS-Fox competition in adults 18-49, with a 2.6 rating versus a combined 2.2 for ABC's "Extreme Weight Loss" (0.8), CBS's drama encores (0.9) and Fox's comedy rebroadcasts (0.5). "Talent" is also edging those networks combined in total viewers (11.253 million vs. a combined 11.160 million), pending updates.

· "The Night Shift" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) won the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key measure and is the #2 telecast of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49 and total viewers, behind only "America's Got Talent."

· "The Night Shift" nearly matched the combined ABC-CBS competition in 18-49, with a1.4 rating versus a combined 1.5 for CBS's "Person of Interest" encore (0.8) and ABC's "Celebrity Wife Swap" rebroadcast (0.7).

· "The Night Shift" retains 95% of last week's rating (with a 1.4 vs. last week's 1.5). In total viewers, "Night Shift" is currently holding onto 98% (6.6 million vs. 6.7 million), pending updates. In its fourth week, "The Night Shift" is still retaining 88% of its premiere 1.6 in 18-49 on May 27, which was NBC's top summer drama debut in five years (since "The Philanthropist," June 24, 2009).

· NBC is #1 among the Big 4 networks in all key measures.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
