Monday Results:
· An encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.4/4 in adults 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) retained 82% of last week's rating for an original in adults 18-49 (with a 1.4 vs. last week's 1.7). In total viewers, the "Ninja" encore retained 87% of last week's overall audience for a first-run (4.467 million vs. 5.151 million).
· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., the "Ninja" encore ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49, within 2 shares of CBS's season premiere of "Under the Dome" (1.6/5 from 10-11 for "Ninja" vs. a 2.2/7 for "Dome") and +45% ahead of ABC's original "Mistresses" (1.1/3). From its first hour to its second, the rebroadcast "Ninja" grew by +23% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.3) and by +12% in total viewers (4.7 million vs. 4.2 million).
· From 10-11 p.m., the second half of the "Ninja" encore tied the "Under the Dome" debut in men 18-34 (1.1 rating each).
· "Harry Potter: The Making of Diagon Alley" (0.8 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) tied for #2 in the time period among the Big 4 nets in men 18-34 (0.5 rating).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/3 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
