- VELOCITY CELEBRATES STRONG 2Q2014, DRAFTING AUDIENCES, CLIMBING THE CABLE RANKS, AND SURPASSING COMPETITIVE NETWORKS -

(Silver Spring, Md.) - VELOCITY, one of cable's fastest growing brands for men, continued its chase for ratings victory in 2Q2014 with GAINS IN ALL PERSONS RATINGS (P25-54/18-49/18-34). Success happened around the clock, with 5 of 7 nights showing steady or improved ratings growth for P25-54, and all non-prime dayparts growing both P25-54 and M25-54 ratings.

Competitively, June primetime ratings for Velocity were higher than sports competition FoxSports1 and MLB Network, and higher than news competition CNN and CNBC. Velocity also sailed past upscale men's network Esquire with more than double the M25-54 ratings and almost double the M25-54 delivery.

Despite a breadth of World Cup programing throughout all day parts, June '14 (Total Day) was VEL's highest-rated June ever for P/M25-54, and was also VEL's highest-delivering June ever for P/M25-54 and P/M18-49. June '14 also marks 25 straight months of year-on-year delivery growth in Primetime for P/M25-54 and P/M18-49. Programs driving 2Q14 success were premieres of Wheeler Dealers, Dallas Car Sharks, Overhaulin', What's in the Barn,
