LOS ANGELES, July 24, 2014 - Television viewers blissfully embraced Married life, as FX's newest original comedy series starring Nat Faxon and Judy Greer from Executive Producer Andrew Gurland scored 1.5 million Total Viewers and 1.1 Million Adults 18-49 in its initial run (7/17/14, 10:00-10:30 PM). Married's premiere made it FX's #4 most-watched original comedy series debut in delivery of Adults 18-49 behind Wilfred, Lucky and Archer. Additional top ranks across FX's original comedy roster for a premiere episode include #2 in Women 18-34, #3 in Women 18-49, and #4 in Adults 18-34 and Women 25-54 (Live+3 basis).

Married is a half hour comedy about being miserably in love. Russ and Lina Bowman can barely remember what life was like before kids, debt, and suburbia rained on their romance - but every once in a while, in between the arguments about their declining sex life and who's driving carpool, they are reminded what drew them together in the first place - they're best friends. The show also features Russ and Lina's friend AJ, who is recently divorced and pretending he's over his wife, and their other friend Jess, who is married to a much older man who can't keep up with her.

Married stars Nat Faxon as "Russ," Judy Greer as "Lina," Brett Gelman as "AJ" and Jenny Slate as "Jess." Paul Reiser guest stars as "Shepard," Jess' husband. The series was created by Andrew Gurland (The Virginity Hit, Mail Order Wife), who wrote and directed the pilot and serves as Executive Producer/Showrunner, alongside Executive Producers Peter Principato and Paul Young. The series is produced by FX Productions.
