NBC Ties for #1 for the Night in Adults 18-49 Among the Big 4 Networks
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, August 29.

Friday Primetime Results:

NBC is currently tied for #1 for the night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks.

· An encore telecast of "Dateline NBC" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is tied for #1 in the time period in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and is #1 outright among those networks in adults 25-54.

· The "Dateline" rebroadcast is the #1 newsmagazine of the night in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers, ahead of ABC's "20/20."

· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, the "Dateline NBC" encore was #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

· An rebroadcast of "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is up 0.2 of a point or +50% versus last week's telecast in adults 18-49 (to a 0.6 rating from a 0.4). "Running Wild" is currently tied for #2 among the Big 4 networks in the hour in adults 18-49 and tied for #1 in men 18-49 and 25-54, pending updates.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.7/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/3 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
