Regarding this morning's Nielsens, remember that the fast-national ratings that came in at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT are not time zone-adjusted and typically understate live NFL telecasts. Despite that, NBC is currently #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings category, including adult-female demos, in the fast-national ratings.
· In metered-market results, which are time zone-adjusted, NBC Sports coverage of last night's Indianapolis Colts-Denver Broncos "Sunday Night Football" telecast, which saw Denver jump out to 24-0 first-half lead, averaged a 15.1 rating, 25 share fro 8:30-11:15 in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research, to rank as primetime's #1 show.
· NBC led primetime by a wide margin in metered-market household ratings, averaging an 11.7/19 from 8-11 p.m. versus a 6.4/10 for Fox, a 4.5/7 for CBS and a 1.6/3 for ABC.
· The 2014 NFL Kickoff Weekend marks the 5th consecutive season that NBC has posted a 15.0 overnight for both the Thursday "NFL Kickoff" game and the "Sunday Night Football" opener.
· Top local ratings for the Colts-Broncos game on NBC were: Denver, 43.6/66; Indianapolis, 39.2/58; Las Vegas, 22.0/34; Albuquerque, 19.8/31; Nashville, 19.7/28; San Diego, 19.0/35; Knoxville, 18.8/29; Norfolk, 18.2/28; Richmond, 18.1/28; and Phoenix, 17.9/30.
