"America's Got Talent" Grows by 32% Week to Week in Adult 18-49 Rating and 16% in Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, September 16.

Tuesday Results:

NBC ranked #1 for the night among the Big 4 in all key measures, led by the #1 show of the night in 18-49, "America's Got Talent."

· "America's Got Talent" (2.5/8 in 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) grew by +32% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (to a 2.5 from a 1.9) and +16% in total viewers (11.375 million vs. 9.832 million), to rank as the #1 show of the night 18-49 (on a night that includes CBS's "Big Brother" [2.3] and ABC's season premiere of the "Dancing With the Stars" results show [2.1]). In the time period, "Talent" ranked #1 among the Big 4 in every key category.

· "America's Got Talent" beat its year-ago Tuesday performance finale by +4% in 18-49 (with a 2.5 rating vs. a 2.4 from 9-11 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013) and was up versus last year in total viewers by +2% (11.375 million vs. 11.193 million).

· "America's Got Talent" hit a two-month high in 18-49 (with its highest rating since July 1, 2.6) and a three-month high in total viewers (best since June 17,11.424 million).

· An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) generated a six-week high for NBC in the time period in 18-49 (best since Aug. 5) and a nine-week high in total viewers (best since July 15), despite original reality competition on all three rival Big 4 networks last night from "Big Brother," the "Dancing With the Stars" results show season premiere and "Utopia."

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.4/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
