"Bad Judge" Scores NBC's Top 18-49 Rating in Its Slot with In-Season Regular Programming Since November 7, 2013
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, October 2.

Thursday Primetime Results:

· "The Biggest Loser" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) maintained 100% of its rating of the prior two weeks in 18-49 and hit a three-week high in total viewers (best since the season premiere of Sept. 11, 5.4 million). "biggest Loser" is up week to week in total viewers by +6% (4.721 million vs. 4.470 million).

· From its first half-hour to its second, "The Biggest Loser" grew in every key measure, including a gain of +8% in 18-49 (to a 1.4 from a 1.3).

· The debut of "Bad Judge" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET) retained 100% of its lead-in from "Biggest Loser" in 18-49 and built by +24% in total viewers.

· In the time period, "Bad Judge" outdelivered Fox's rival debut of "Gracepoint" head to head from 9-9:30 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and all key adult-female demos.

· "Bad Judge" scored NBC's top 18-49 rating in the slot with in-season regular programming since Nov. 7, 2013.

· The premiere of "A to Z" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 9:30-10:01 p.m. ET) retained 92% of its lead-in from "Bad Judge" in adults 18-49 and 94% in women 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.7). "A to Z" outrated Fox's rival debut of "Gracepoint" head to head from 9:30-10 in women 18-49 and women 25-54.

· "Parenthood" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) retained 93% of last week's season-premiere 1.4, which equaled "Parenthood's" highest 18-49 rating since Oct. 3, 2013.

· In total viewers, "Parenthood" grew +2% versus last week's season premiere, pending updates. That currently makes this the show's #2 best total-viewer performance in more than a year (since the fall 2013 season debut on Sept. 27, 2013, over that span trailing only the 4.398 million of March 27).

· UPSCALE: "Parenthood" was the #1 most upscale primetime series on the Big 4 networks in "most current" L+3 results for premiere week, indexing at a 179 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/6 delayed by an NFL overrun; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.7/7.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3 delayed by an NFL overrun; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/5.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET , ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.6/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/5 delayed by an NFL overrun). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/3 delayed by an NFL overrun).

· At 1:35 a.m. ET , "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
