ABC's Live + 3 Day data for Premiere Week 2014-15 (9/22/14-9/28/14):

After initially tying NBC's The Voice in the L+SD Adult 18-49 ratings, ABC's How to Get Away with Murder (5.8 rating in L+3), Modern Family (5.6) and Scandal (5.3) all moved ahead of the NBC program (5.0) to rank as the #6, #7 and #8 shows of the week, respectively. In fact, all 3 shows placed among the week's Top 5 entertainment series in Adults 18-49, based on regular programming.

ABC claimed Top 2 shows on Wednesday in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 with Modern Family (15.2 million and 5.6) and black-ish (14.3 million and 4.6), the #1 show on Thursday in Total Viewers with HTGAWM (20.3 million), the #1 show on Friday in Adults 18-49 with Shark Tank (2.5) and the Top 3 dramas on Sunday in Adults 18-49 with Once Upon a Time (4.6), Resurrection (3.2) and Revenge (2.3).

· Thursday's debut of ABC's How to Get Away With Murder was the #1 biggest overall gainer of Premiere Week 2014-15, adding on +6.0 million Total Viewers after 3 days of playback. In fact, ABC's new drama delivered the largest-ever Total Viewer increase in L+3 for any telecast on any network, beating the previous record holder (the 1/27/14 telecast of NBC's The Blacklist) by 7% (+6.0 million vs. +5.6 million). With the addition of L+3 playback, HTGAWM soared to 20.3 million Total Viewers (from 14.3 million in L+SD).

· Adding +1.9 rating points to its L+SD tally, How to Get Away With Murder is the 2nd-biggest gainer so far this season among Adults 18-49 (behind only CBS' The Big Bang Theory premiere) and is the #1 freshman gainer, topping the playback gains of Fox's Gotham (+1.8 rating points).
