"The Voice" Ranks as the #1 Non-Sports Telecast of the Night on the Big 4 in 18-49
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, October 28.

Tuesday Results (note the corrected L+3/L+7 projections below):

· "The Voice" (2.8/9 in 18-49, 10.8 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 non-sports telecast of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49. "The Voice" grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including a gain of +11% in adults 18-49 (to a 3.0 from a 2.7).

· "The Voice" won the time period among the Big 4 networks in all key adult-female demos, despite facing a potentially deciding Game 6 of the World Series.

· "Marry Me" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:30 p.m. ET) remained the #2 new comedy of the season in 18-49, having delivered the #2 results for a new comedy on the Big 4 for its first week, second week and now its third week, behind only the first three telecasts of ABC's "Black-ish."

· Last night's "Marry Me" retained 89% of the prior week's 1.8 rating in 18-49 and 99.9% of last week's 5.608 million viewers overall, pending updates.

· Upscale: "Marry Me" is the #1 most upscale new series on the Big 4 networks in "most current" L+3 results through the opening five weeks of the season (144 index among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes).

· "About a Boy" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) retained 75% of its lead-in in adults 18-49 and 82% in adults 18-34 (0.9 vs. 1.1).

· "About a Boy" retained 86% of the prior week's rating in adults 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.4), despite last night's game six World Series competition, and 90% of last week's result in adults 18-34 (0.9 vs. 1.0).

· "Chicago Fire" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) remained undefeated versus the slot's ABC-CBS drama competition in adults 18-49 through six Tuesdays of the season to date.

· Last night's "Chicago Fire" maintained its 18-49 rating from half-hour to half-hour despite the 10 p.m. hour (1.7 vs. 1.7) and grew by +9% in adults 25-54 (from a 2.2 to a 2.4).

· L+3: Last week's "Chicago Fire" grew by a season-high +50% in 18-49 (from a 1.88 to a 2.82) and 2.7 million viewers overall (7.5 million vs. 10.2 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
