NOV. 1 EDITION OF "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE" SCORES THE SHOW'S TOP RESULTS SINCE FEBRUARY
With Host Chris Rock and Musical Guest Prince, 'SNL' Delivers the Night's #1 18-49 and Overall Viewership Results, Ahead of All Saturday Primetime Programming
NEW YORK, N.Y. - Nov. 6, 2014 - The Nov. 1 edition of "Saturday Night Live," with host Chris Rock and musical guest Prince, has generated the show's highest national adult 18-49 rating and overall viewership since Feb. 1.
Last weekend's "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 2.42 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49 and 7.436 million viewers overall. These are the top "SNL" results in both 18-49 and total viewers since the Feb. 1 edition, with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Imagine Dragons, which averaged a 2.92 rating in 18-49 and 8.092 million viewers overall. Note that some results since February are subject to change by Nielsen.
Versus the same night last year, "Saturday Night Live" grew by +11% in adult 18-49 rating (from a 2.19 to a 2.42) and was up by +18% in total viewers (from 6.286 million to 7.436 million).
The Nov. 1 "Saturday Night Live" delivered the night's #1 results on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and total viewers, out-delivering all Saturday primetime shows on those networks in both measures.
