"The Mysteries of Laura" Captures Its Highest 18-49 and Total-Viewer Results Since October 15
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, November 19.

Wednesday Primetime Results:

· "The Mysteries of Laura" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 8.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) captured its highest 18-49 and total-viewer results since Oct. 15 (1.4 in 18-49, 8.675 million viewers overall) and is within a tenth of a point of the show's 18-49 high for regular-slot episodes (1.5 on Oct. 1 and Oct. 8).

· "The Mysteries of Laura" is up +17% versus its prior fast-national rating (1.2 on Nov. 5) and up +8% vs. that night's official national (1.3). In total viewers, last night's telecast is up +9% versus official nationals for the Nov. 5 episode (8.570 million vs. 7.870 million).

· For a seventh telecast in a row, "The Mysteries of Laura" remained within 0.3 of a point of its regular-slot premiere rating in 18-49 (1.5 on Sept. 24).

· "Law & Order: SVU" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) hit its highest rating, excluding last week's crossover, since Oct. 1 (1.8) and matched its high for a non-crossover episode since the show's season premiere on Sept. 24 (2.2). In total viewers, this was the most-watched "SVU," excluding last week's crossover, since the season premiere (10.128 million on Sept. 24).

· Last night's "Law & Order: SVU" grew +13% versus its prior non-crossover episode in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.6 on Nov. 5) and was up +12% in total viewers (7.863 million vs. 6.998 million). Versus the same night last year, "SVU" was up +13% in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.6 on Nov. 20, 2013) and up +32% in total viewers (7.863 million vs. 5.974 million).

· "Chicago P.D." (1.6/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) locked up its best rating, excluding last week's crossover, since Oct. 15 (1.6) and equaled its non-crossover high since its season premiere on Sept. 24 (1.9). In total viewers, its was the most-watched "Chicago P.D.," excluding last week's crossover, since the season premiere (8.560 million on Sept. 24). "Chicago P.D." upgraded the slot by +45%versus NBC's results on the year-ago night in 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.1 on Nov. 20, 2013).

· Last night's "Chicago P.D." retained 89% of its lead-in from "SVU" in 18-49, versus a 74% retention in the slot for CBS's "Stalker" (1.7 vs. 2.3 for "Criminal Minds") and 58% for ABC's "Nashville" (1.5 vs. 2.6 for "Black-ish").

· "Chicago P.D." finished within a tenth of a point of CBS's "Stalker" for the time period lead among ABC, CBS and NBC (1.6 vs. 1.7).

· "The Mysteries of Laura" originals are growing by +29% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.47 to a 1.90) and more than 1.8 million viewers overall (8.9 million to 10.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· "SVU" originals have been increasing by +65% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.79 a 2.95) and more than 2.8 million viewers overall (8.0 million to 10.8 million).

· "Chicago P.D." originals have been growing by +65% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.61 to a 2.65) and 3.2 million viewers overall (7.1 million to 10.3 million).

Last Week's L+3 Results:

· "Law & Order: SVU" increased by +52% or a series-record 1.24 rating points in 18-49 (from a 2.37 to a 3.61 at 9 p.m. ET) and a series-record 3.1 million viewers overall (10.0 million to. 13.1 million) going from L+SD to L+3. It was the top "SVU" L+3 rating in 18-49 in four years (since the Sept. 22, 2010 season premiere, 3.76) and the show's biggest L+3 overall audience in six years (since April 29, 2008, 13.243 million).

· "Chicago P.D." grew by +51% or a series-record 1.12 rating points in 18-49 (from a 2.19 to a 3.31 at 10 p.m. ET) and by a series-record 3.2 million viewers overall (9.5 million to. 12.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3 results. The 3.31 rating in 18-49 and 12.7 million viewers overall are L+3 series records for "Chicago P.D."

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
