"THE NFL ON CBS" BROADCAST OF INDIANAPOLIS'S WIN OVER DENVER IS SECOND-HIGHEST-RATED SUNDAY AFC DIVISONAL PLAYOFF GAME IN 19 YEARS
THE NFL ON CBS's broadcast of the AFC Divisional Playoff game featuring the Indianapolis Colts' victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Jan. 11 (4:45-8:00 PM, ET) was the second-highest-rated Sunday AFC Divisional Playoff game in 19 years on any network.
The AFC Divisional Playoff game on Sunday scored an average overnight household rating/share in the metered markets of 25.4/41, up 1% from last year's 25.1/42 (San Diego-Denver, 1/12/14).
Yesterday's 25.4/41 is the second highest-rated Sunday AFC Divisional Playoff game in 19 years, trailing only a 26.2/44 (N.Y. Jets-New England, 1/16/11, CBS) and a 26.1/41 (Indianapolis-Kansas City, 1/7/96, NBC).
The game rating/share for the Colts-Broncos game peaked with 27.6/42 (7:00-7:30 PM, ET), respectively.
