"The Blacklist" Doubles Its Lead-In, Finishes Within a Tenth of Last Week's Fast-Affil Rating

"THE BLACKLIST" DOUBLES ITS LEAD-IN, FINISHES WITHIN A TENTH OF LAST WEEK'S FAST-AFFIL RATING

"BLACKLIST" -- WHICH LAST WEEK JUMPED FROM THE NIGHT'S #7 MOST-WATCHED BIG 4 SHOW IN L+SD TO #2 IN L+3 - GROWS WEEK TO WEEK IN TOTAL VIEWERS FOR A SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK IN FAST AFFILS

"THE SLAP" INCREASES +14% WEEK TO WEEK IN 18-49, MATCHES HIGH SINCE ITS SERIES DEBUT

"ALLEGIANCE" MAINTAINS WEEK TO WEEK IN 18-49, GROWS IN ADULTS AND MEN 25-54

Thursday Primetime Results:

· "The Blacklist" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 8.0 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) built on last night's lead-in by +113% in 18-49 and +107% in total viewers.

· "The Blacklist" is currently running within 0.1 of last week's 1.8 rating in 18-49 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings and within 0.2 of last week's 1.9 in official nationals, on a night when ABC's "Scandal" returned to the time period after being preempted last week. In total viewers, "Blacklist" is up +2% versus last week's fast-affiliate result (8.002 million vs. 7.854 million). If the gain holds in official nationals, it will be the second consecutive week that "Blacklist" has increased its overall audience. "The Blacklist" is retaining 100% of last week's official-national ratings in all key adult-male demos.

· "The Blacklist" will increase substantially in L+3 -The prior week's "Blacklist" grew by +76% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 (1.86 to 3.28). In total viewers, last week's "Blacklist" grew by 4.8 million persons in L+3 (8.0 million to 12.8 million), the biggest increase on the night among Big 4 primetime programs.

· L+7 ESTIMATE: 3.6 in 18-49, 13.9 million viewers overall.

· In total viewers, last week's "Blacklist" jumped from the #7 telecast of the night on the Big 4 in L+SD to the #2 program in L+3 (and the #1 drama).

· The Feb. 12 "Blacklist" more than doubled its 18-49 rating in L+7 (from a 1.72 in L+SD to a 3.59 in L+7)

· Upscale: "The Blacklist" was the prior Thursday's most upscale primetime telecast on the Big 4 in L+SD, indexing at a 126 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

Note that the Blacklist" has energized NBC's Thursday. In L+3 averages heading into this week:

· "The Blacklist" has improved the Thursday 9-10 p.m. ET slot by +175% in 18-49 versus prior regularly scheduled entertainment programming in the slot this season (3.3 vs. 1.2 in affiliate average, "live plus three day") and by 9.0 million viewers overall (13.2 million vs. 4.2 million, L+3).

· NBC has improved its Thursday nights by +19% in 18-49 since the move of "The Blacklist" to the night, averaging a 1.9 versus a 1.6 previously with regularly scheduled entertainment programming in L+3, and increased on the night by 2.9 million viewers overall (8.1 million vs. 5.2 million, L+3).

· "The Slap" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +14% or 0.1 of a rating point week to week in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.7) to match its highest rating since the show's Feb. 12 premiere (1.1). Last night's telecast also grew +5% week to week in total viewers (3.867 million vs. 3.673 million), +10% in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.0) and +33% in men 25-54 (0.8 vs. 0.6).

· "The Slap" will increase significantly in L+3 -- The prior week's "Slap" grew by +48% in 18-49 rating (0.71 to 1.05) and in total viewers by 1.1 million persons (3.7 million to 4.8 million) going from L+SD to L+3. L+7 ESTIMATE: 1.2 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall.

· Upscale: "The Slap" has been a solid upscale attraction, delivering a 128 index of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3, with 100 representing an average concentration of those homes).

· "Allegiance" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) maintained 100% of last week's 18-49 rating and is up +10% week to week in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.0) and up +25% in men 25-54 (1.0 vs. 0.8).

· "Allegiance" will grow significantly in L+3 -The previous week's "Allegiance" grew by +42 going from L+SD to L+3 in 18-49 rating (0.77 to 1.09) and in total viewers by 1.5 million persons (3.5 million to 5.0 million). L+7 ESTIMATE: 1.3 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall.

· Upscale: "Allegiance" delivers a strong concentration of upscale viewers, indexing at a 135 for adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes, "most current" including L+3).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/6 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.5/7.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/5.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.7/5 in metered-market households and a 0.7/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
