NBC Wins Monday Among the Big 4 in All Key Demos with the #1 Show of the Night, "The Voice"

NBC WINS MONDAY AMONG THE BIG 4 IN ALL KEY DEMOS WITH THE #1 SHOW OF THE NIGHT, 'THE VOICE'; 'NIGHT SHIFT' IS CURRENTLY UP +23% WEEK TO WEEK TO TIE ITS SERIES-RECORD RATING

'VOICE' MATCHES LAST WEEK'S 3.3 IN FAST-AFFILIATE NIELSENS

'VOICE' TOPS THE #2 SHOW OF THE NIGHT ON THE BIG 4 BY A +65% MARGIN IN 18-49

'NIGHT SHIFT' IS CURRENTLY TIED FOR #1 AMONG ABC, CBS AND NBC AT 10 P.M.

Monday Primetime Results:

· "The Voice" (3.3/10 in 18-49, 11.9 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) is matching last week's 3.3 rating in these prelim fast-affiliate results and is within 3% of last week's 3.4 in official nationals.

· "The Voice" ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in all key demographics and won the time period in every key demo. "The Voice" topped the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49 by +65% (3.3 vs. 2.0 for both CBS's "Scorpion" and ABC's "Dancing With the Stars"). "The Voice" is currently within 3% of its week-five Monday rating in the fall (3.3 vs. 3.4 on Oct. 20, 2014) and within 0.1% in total viewers (11.882 million vs. 11.899 million).

· Upscale: Last Monday's "Voice" was the night's most upscale show on the Big 4, indexing at 132 among in adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes, L+SD).

· "Live Plus Seven Day" Ratings: First-run editions of Monday's "Voice" this season have grown by +26% in 18-49 rating (from a 3.43 to a 4.31) and 2.2 million viewers overall (12.2 million to 14.4 million).

· "The Night Shift" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) is currently jumping +23% week to week in 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.3), pending updates, to match its series record in 18-49, previously achieved only with the show's series premiere (1.6 on Tuesday, May 27, 2014). In total viewers, "Night Shift" is currently up week to week by +8% (5.782 million vs. 5.362 million) to its highest rating since March 2 (6.1 million).

· This week's "The Night Shift" is currently tied for #1 for the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, as well as adults, men and women 18-34, pending updates, and is #1 outright in the slot among those nets in women 18-49 (2.0 rating).

· "The Night Shift" will grow significantly in L+3 - last week's "Night Shift" increased by +31% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.35 to 1.76). In total viewers, "Night Shift" grew by 1.3 million persons (from 5.4 million to 6.7 million)..

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/6.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.4/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).

· Note that "Late Night" finished within a tenth of its Monday season average in metered-market households (1.2 vs. 1.3) and matched its season average in 18-49 in the LPMs (0.5 vs. 0.5).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NOTE: Primetime results are based on "fast affiliate time period" data from Nielsen Media Research. All ratings are "live plus same day" unless otherwise indicated. Season-to-date averages are "most current," "live plus seven days" for all but the most recent two weeks, which are still L+SD.
