Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, CBS Share Adults 18-49 Crown

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/22/15):

CBS (9.335 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1) was the most-watched network on Wednesday thanks to its trio of "Survivor: Worlds Apart" (9.838 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2), "Criminal Minds" (9.920 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #5) and "CSI: Cyber" (8.248 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7).

Sharing in the demo honors however was ABC (6.820 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1) with originals from "The Middle" (7.746 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.8, #6), "The Goldbergs" (7.119 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3), "Modern Family" (8.759 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1), "Black-ish" (6.590 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3) and "Nashville" (5.352 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #9).

Next up was FOX (7.360 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) with another two-hour "American Idol" (7.360 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.022 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up a new "The Mysteries of Laura" (6.620 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #10) followed by repeats of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (4.256 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T11) and "Chicago PD" (4.189 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T11).

And finally, fresh installments from "Arrow" (2.716 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T11) and "Supernatural" (1.778 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #14) on The CW (2.247 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former delivered a 0.7 rating while the latter posted a 0.6 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (5.639 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "The Middle" (6.846 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4), "Suburgatory" (5.247 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #5), "Modern Family" (9.247 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1), "Mixology" (4.150 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6) and the special "Nashville: On the Record" (4.170 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10).

Next up was CBS (7.557 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) with a new "Survivor: Cagayan" (9.304 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) alongside repeats of "Criminal Minds" (6.377 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (6.989 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).
